  • I have loved this band since like 94! Saw theme a few times. Even spent the night with them at the Krishna temple in Chicago. It was the best. Thanks for the inspiration to be a better person.

  • i like

  • MAAAAAUUUAAAAKKEEEEEEE UUUHHHHH CHAAAAAAANNNNGGEEEEE RAWOHWAAAWWWAHHHHH

  • AWESOME MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • gostei

  • um, ZING!! and emphatic love, yeah?

  • I always thought 108 was more of a legit band when it came to KrishnaCore

  • @frankieOSC well following the old vedic maxim 'palena patriciyate', judge by the results, you can understand shelter were living the message a bit more than 108. they are both great bands though.

  • @frankieOSC I always liked Shelter more

  • wow tuamadre7 how can i become so punk like u

  • right, don't worry...

    by the way, you suck...

    hahahahahahahahahaha

  • @1978deus...hahahahahaha right, nevermind, anyway krishna sucks, and you suck too.

  • @TuaMadre7 You should have a little respect, `cause some of us believe in a Superior Being called God or Krishna. If you like amazing hardcore bands like Crunch it`s ok. This is not about religion, it`s all about to enjoy listening good music.

  • krishna punk core

  • this is not hardcore. hardcore is not about faith, krishna or shit like that. FUCK ANY RELIGION

  • @TuaMadre7 Who are you to say what hardcore is about? It's just a faster more aggressive form of punk. Some hardcore bands are straight edge or political and others are full-on racists. There are no rules.

  • na capa do cd o cara ta com a camisa do Sao Paulo

  • @rodrigo16601 sério?..q massa!!!

  • my 1st shelter song..yet fave until very this time...

  • Hab das Mantra Album damals rauf und runter gehört.

  • They steal their music from other artists

  • !!!

  • Jesus christ, Ray Cappo needs to listen to that Minor Threat song, Filler.

  • what does Shelter's logo mean? and where did it come from?

  • @HiddenFormula it's the eight spoke wheel of the noble eightfold path. its buddhist imagery, i know that much

  • this has to be the most 90's music video of all time. haha. loves it.

  • @sackajapeanuts the only scam is the scam where you think you dont need to be serving the supreme.

  • Has Cappo left ISKCON?

  • @themarinelines Why would you ask such a designation conscious question? No he hasn't "left" ISKCON, although its not some club you need to have a rubber stamp to join, he tries to adhere to the principles set forth in A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada's books, so if thats what you mean, then yes.

  • @sandihume

We should protect people from 'joining' ISKCON in the first place. It is evil.

  • @youonagin We should protect people from comments like yours that show no respect for other ppl´s faith. If you wanna be respected, try respecting others first. Respect - latin - Respectus, from the verb Respicere, Re-(again) specere: to look - look back at something, meaning that something needs to have a second closer look at.

  • @Camponesadastrevas

Respect for human life and an individual's integrity *implies* such things as protecting them from bad things. When it hurts to see one suffer. Like as you would try to help an alcoholic whilst still respecting that person, no matter what condition. And maybe, someone helping the alcoholic may once have been one himself, or has seen a loved one perish because of it. Namasté.

  • I don't care what anyone says, the song-writing on this album is great.

  • no bro , in fact now I am listening " make war not love " of pro-pain.......cee ya!!!!!!!!

  • @MrMele98 ha, sure you are a child!! still listening "a day to remember" and thinking that is hardcore

  • Man,das muss Mitte-Ende der 90er gewesen sein...aber immer noch Kult :-)

  • @npsiebe1 I agree that the earlier stuff was better, but if if you liked Shelter from their beginnings, this song was good as well. Unfortunately I lost interest after this record. To each their own.

  • the beginning is so damn calming and peaceful

  • Such A killer hook of a chorus

  • shouldn't they be handing out flowers at the airport. ha ha. Ray is a legend. Positive music with a great message. Well done.

  • Thk so much, this is a very good band of my infancy.......

  • Everybody who calls shelter sellouts is a damn idiot!

    HARE KRISHNA!

  • @npsiebe1 Sell outs?! Ridiculous...Listen to the whole damn album, it's their best release.

  • Grandissimi!

Saluti dal batterista degli Hare Baba

  • amazing song

"we loved not wisely but to well....."

  • he is a vaishnava devotee//i wouldnt have believed it if he didn't have seen the kanthi in his neck and the shikha on his head//the thme is any how great//and the dude just rocks//hare krishna to all the believers and hare krishna to all the non beliversas well

  • HARIBOL!

  • He was Youth of Today singer, not Gorilla Biscuits.

  • Dam

If every one like the same things did the same things it would be freaking freaking silly. The Message of the music is the most important .

  • Fuck this sucks compared to the late 80's and early 90's. what is this? some pussy fuck ass faggot punk weird shit? it sounds like alien ant farm. fuck this shit! sXe!!

  • @kdj29

some people may never grow up or evolve

  • @kdj29 yes this is garbage

  • @BillKiernan huh this sounds like what gang of four might be doing to cash in around 1979 actually i mean what could you really do with this but leave it as it is A and R wise? listening to gang of four entertainment now and they sound really HINDU

  • how the heck is this considered hardcore? its like the lightest thing i ever heard

  • These guys introduced me to Hardcore along time ago.

Never understood the Straight Edge thing but I can respect it.

    Regardless, still an amazing band!

  • so when it suits you white cunts , you can embrace Indian traditions and listen to Krishnacore ........when your not calling us disparaging racial epithets like "ragheads" and "dotheads" .... fuckin duplicitous mother fuckers that you are

  • @douchebag21 No mate we only call the burka wearing, bomb in the rucksack carrying ones 'ragheads'. Not the peaceful hard working ones

  • @martyrrockchick75 well thanks for shedding some light on that contentious issue ....... so i take it , its the Muslims you hate not the Hindus right ???

  • @douchebag21 not all muslims just the nasty ones!!

  • Cara essa musica e show, marca boas lembranças muito bom! parabéns pra o cara que conseguiu achar essa preciosíssimo

    valew

  • I can't believe stuff like Green Day got popular and not this.

  • @hassanumer999 Well, frankly Green Day is just an all around better band. I love hardcore and I love this band, but they don't hold a candle to what Green Day has created over the years. Bill Armstrong has better vocals than Ray of Today, hands down.

  • @str0man2008 fuck you. if you pretend to like shelter, or even hardcore, its about being open minded and looking for meaning. especially to bona fide beliefs. jerk..

  • Oh my God, it's so nice to see a hardcore band that's not wearing eyeliner, v-neck shirts or swoopy hair. Just a bunch of regular guys playing awesome music.

  • @Meatballhead07 don't get me wrong, i gave you thumbs up.. but you should learn a little more about 'hardcore' music and probably the movement as a whole.. v-necks and all the stuff you mention have NOTHING to do with hardcore!

  • @Dennisch87 I know you meant well, but I actually have been following hardcore music for the past 15 years. I know that what I described isn't hardcore music by any means, I'm saying that whole garbage is what basically passes for "hardcore" today in the eyes of a lot of kids. That synth-y, tough guy, metal "core" crap is the furthest thing from real hardcore, but unfortunately, it's what a lot of people who don't know any better perceive it to be.

  • @Meatballhead07 thats because this was the original hardcore back in the late 80s and early 90s not the commercial emo crap you kids listen to these days

  • @Avinashda Wow, I've never posted a comment that was meant to be positive that ended up being ripped apart so much. I don't listen to that scene crap, that's not my music. This is the kind of hardcore I grew up on, I just stated it's refreshing to watch this and go back to when this kind of music was the popular hardcore.

  • Shelter were amazing. Top band live as well.

  • I like of the band and also spiritual vision of the band.Great!

  • thanks for the lyrics

  • yeah this was terrible. Nothing was ever as good as the No Compromise 7"

  • @npsiebe1 this is certainly there most melodic and radio-friendly song, but it comes from a great album, full of substance and meaning. I rate Mantra very highly, an excellent and unique combination of many styles eg, hardcore, rap, emo and metal. I think Mantra is one very underrated album.

  • Lols i remember seeing this on RAW or Noisy Mothers in the early 90's......

  • @npsiebe1 nope you cant, this was in the same album as their heavy stuff. and they didnt change their genre to suit a switchover to a major label. so no, you cant say sell outs.

  • @sandihume Agreed !

  • @sandihume anyone can say sell out, but anyone can be a dickhead too.

  • @sandihume anyone can say sell out, but anyone can be a dickhead too. god forbid a band ever mixes it up a little and tries something different.

  • chants from bahagavata purana for this age ;)

  • THX! This realy makes me melancholic. :) in a good way! Reminds me of many happy days!

  • Holy shit.... I forgot all about this band... Who ever posted this...THANKS! I used to have the tape. Man... this song brings back memories. Back when kids were a lot more tuff than these sissy ass kids now a days. Shit you get your ass kicked if you wore tight ass pants, with a cute haircut with those bangs in your eyes.

  • @thesicilianguitarist

  • @bustbig911 yup!! this f#$king olschool....

olschool always ROCK BETTER N HARDER!!!

  • @fromCRADLE2nslave I like this song, but old school to me is like Bad Brains and late 70's early 80's stuff. I can't stand most 90's punk, for some reason I like most Krisnacore though.
