mainly trained legs, but you will learn by shear pain there is a correct way to bend your legs without falling over/hurting your legs

the muscles in your legs will become more adjusted to falling the more you try it, start off with smalled jumps, like 2-4 meters high and build up

You should also be able to do 15 foot drops onto concrete bare foot without it hurting.

If you've seen any other freerunning videos of experts, they have backflips equally as high. A backflip allows you to lose a lot of air without gaining too much speed.
