No matter what people have to say about Kenny, I believe he was, is and will always be a good musician. Who cares how he plays the sax? I mean, reality check, if you can't make millions with your album, then you're nothing. But, he can though.. I studied music and apart of being creative with our work, we actually learn to produce songs acceptable to the ears of other listeners.. The gist should be there so that listeners can get the emotion and interpret the song in their own way.. Go kenny! :)

Whenever I read a negative comment about this guy it makes me sad. This kind of musicianship is very rare and a lot of musicians accepted what Kenny G has to offer. We can learn a lot from people like him just as we did from the great musicians around the globe in the past. Each has his made a contribution to the world of jazz or pop or whatever genre of music. This guy doesn't what to be labeled or be limited with his type of music. This is one of the greatest example of fine musicianship.Peace

christ almighty you people have no idea what makes good jazz. This is the equivalent of a guitar player standing on stage and playing random riffs with no structure. People are dazzled by the speed and fooled into thinking there is soul in it because he holds a note...usually sharp at that.

Go listen to Pat Metheny. Even something classic like Miles Davis or John Coltrane if you want something to learn from.
