Much as I admire chameleons I have to say feeding them with live locusts seem a bit cruel to me from the insects' point of view. Couldn't you feed them with dead insects? I know this is nature yet I feel sorry for the poor locusts, who are just as beautiful as the reptiles...
i want a corn snake and a have a 10 gallon glass fish aquarium is tht good for the corn snake. Also should i get my corn snake from a breeder or a petstore
@FlaminFOX100 LLLReptile or Screameleons. I just ordered mine from screameleons a red-blue bar panther :D My boyfriend and I got a blue bar from LLLReptile. Both ship but LLLReptile has lower prices and convenient if you're in Southern California where they're shops are located.
@chameleonman99 to be honest this package may not be suitable in your climate, depending where you live. My friends in California can keep panthers in a screen flexarium with a UVB tube and no additional heating (very inexpensive). It's so cold in England we have to use a ceramic heat bulb on a thermostat to keep the right temps, and a wooden viv keeps the heat in better. Our wooden vivarium setup is £267.85, about $430.
@chameleonman99 believe it or not we have also done a lot of research over the years, plus we also have a lot of experience to go with that too. We work with chameleons everyday THEY ARE NOT STRESSED OUT BY THE GLASS OR WE WOULDN'T USE IT
why do u keep the panther in glass they can see there reflection and they will get stressed thats not good for them it decreases their life plus they need the air ventalation i think screen would be much better than glass
why do u keep the panther in glass they can see there reflection and they will get stressed thats not good for them it decreases their life plus they need the air ventalation
@BadCompany2Extreme very similar to each other. Couple of boxes of livefood a week, new substrate each month, new UVB every 6 months. They're your main expenses, beardies will also need fresh veg each day.
@insaneRideOuts666 if you've never had a pet, maybe chameleons aren't the best choice. Bearded dragons or leopard geckos are both great beginner lizards
@TheSegarrax7 prices on animals vary all the time. Even though they are captive bred there is still a degree of seasonality which affects availability and ultimately price. As I write this our Yemens (Veiled) are £75 and we currently do not have any Panthers for sale
I agree, that is crap compared to Percy's
