  • that is a DAME NICE PAINT JOB. NICE

  • I thought Model D's had four blades instead of two in the propeller....

  • @billace90

YES A 4 blade prop would be correct but we don't have the power of a Rolls-Royce to turn the correct scale size and shape prop. Maybe some day.

  • @billace90

We havevideo of it flying at TinkerManRc youtube site.

  • Nice Job, Looks Great, AAA+++

  • that grinning yellow cyclops behind you would be a bad sight in a dogfight- nice plane

  • How do you like the flite metal? is it easy to apply? Im think of doing that to one plane I have. Will it work with ribs?

  • Flite metal is like a sticky back foil so you need something solid to attach it to. Open ribs need to be covered then the F.Metal can be applied. Heating supply foil tape that is used on duct work can be used also although it seems to be heavier.

  • Sweeeeeet. I am starting with rc flying.

    Doing a lot of research.

This is something to build as long as I am learning to fly a cheap starters plane.
