WOW! that was brave to do, I got a sleeve of tattoo's at the age of 45 just because I wanted it, and to prove to myself that others views of me made no real difference in my life, when for yrs I worried what others thought of me, so daily I find the world is always judging me but in most cases they do it in silence, so really you come to the realization that every one does this even if its in ones own head or out load its just easier to read what they are thinking when u wear a flashing sign.

Same 'reason' I shaved my eyebrows- because I knew it would be supportive for me- I knew there was some self-definition I had put in them so shaving them off gives me 'no choice', I can't define myself according to my eyebrows if they're not there- and this gives me a real opportunity to realize what I thought they did for me wasn't real or necessary or supportive- and opportunities to not react to others reactions and see what it really means to not judge myself

@realar - Stop participating in thoughts, feeling and emotions/reactions. Apply yourself in self-forgiveness in self-honesty and writing yourself to freedom. Then, and only then, will you see.
@realar - We do not require thoughts, feelings or emotions/reactions to exist. Breathing is all that is required.Try it 4 yourself. Begin by paying close attention to your thoughts, you'll see they come in 3's which is mind patterns that keep us stuck in our behaviors. At the end of the day write out the thoughts, then apply self-forgiveness.What's to loose if 1 day in self-honesty, you stop and see for yourself. It's an interesting and amazing journey for self and allows self-expression forth
