1) "Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you, from them you may buy slaves" (Leviticus (25:44). In other words, we should judge people in terms of race, and enslave people based on race.
2) "You can will them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life" (Leviticus 25:45). Furthermore, there is no chance for emancipation.
"Those who are slaves must consider their masters worthy of all respect, so that no one will speak evil of the name of God and of our teaching. Slaves belonging to Christian masters must not despise them, for they are their brothers." (1 Timothy 6:1-2).

Anyone who has unwanted same-sex attraction can face this reality with the Lord Jesus Christ, by acknowledging not as GLTBQQ, but as a child of God who has same-sex attraction. There is a big difference, for what defines us in that identity is not our sexuality, but rather our relationship to God. Why is it so threatening to inform people of their choice to identify NOT as GLTBQQ, but rather as a child of God (who acknowledges their attractions)? Curious why the reaction.

1) It is heartening to know that schools are now showing documentaries like these. Compare with "Boys Aware," which was used even into the early 70's. And contrast with the lecture in my "SCARY Anti-Gay Lecture to Kids" video. Is it any wonder straight kids grew up homophobic and gay kids grew up suicidal? Experts back then labeled homosexuality a mental illness because gays were more depressed, suicidal and had more psychopathologies.
2) But in the early 70's, it was finally shown that homosexuality, in itself, didn't cause these problems. It was society's constant disapproval -- like the above Florida lecture -- that was at fault. Overweight kids, minorities, etc experience similar problems such as low self-esteem. Gays raised in a supportive environment were no worse than straight kids (as an aside, this is also true of kids raised by gay parents vs straight parents)
3) And it was shown that previous studies had major flaws (i.e. gay subjects were recruited from psychiatrist offices, so OF COURSE THEY HAD MORE MENTAL PROBLEMS! Duh). This prompted the American Psychiatric Assoc to remove homosexuality from their Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders in 1974. Of course, homophobes still refuse to accept the data and conclusions of experts, i.e. Paul Cameron, PhD, who was disbarred from the American Psychological Assoc for unethical behavior.
4) Regardless, media such as this video can do a lot of good in fighting homophobia, both internalized (aka self-hatred) and external. I risk a copyright violation because I think my post can help promote this video. Please encourage your schools and other community resources (i.e. libraries, youth centers, etc) to buy this DVD and show it to kids.

You believe in Leviticus? I bet you also support slavery since the bible thinks it's fine:
1) "Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you, from them you may buy slaves" (Leviticus (25:44). In other words, we should judge people in terms of race, and enslave people based on race.
