  • After hearing Ferruccio Furlanetto in the same air....what can i say?? the difference is huge....Forlanetto is n. 1!!!

  • Siepi's was a world class singersr sung as a bass and a bass baritone the whole repertoir. I think there are enough basses that can sing this role. But the majar fact is that Pisaroni is good bass-bariton and he looks sexy.

  • Ich liebe sein schlankes singen

  • He is not a bass his voice has more bariton timbre.

  • @zegerscrousenp2712 Absolutely agree! This is not a Leporello but a Don Giovanni singing the role of Leporelo.

He is not even a bass-baritone to be attempting these roles. Pisaroni is a lyric baritone. The result is a non convincing Leporello. Are there no basses out there anymore???

Listen to Cesare Siepi's performance of this aria and compare, to see what a real bass sounds like.

  • Beautiful voice! But more for the baritone?

  • Brilliant.

  • beautiful!!!!! definitely has the voice of a leading man!!!!!

  • Whu! That's a really fast rendition - and I really like it. Great voice. By the way, Signore Pisaroni sang Leporello also in Baden Baden - with d'Arcangelo as Don, Damrau as Anna, di Donato as Elvira, Villazón as Ottavio... A recording of the performance is supposed to be released next year. I'm really looking forward to it.

  • Oh my gosh... <3

  • Now THIS is the way it's supposed to sound! Thanks for posting!

  • grande Luca !!
