In my store we aren't required to wear gloves. In fact none of the stores in our area are required to wear gloves. It's actually mandated in our operating procedures that before you wear gloves you wash your hands because they're that pointless. All the meanwhile your sweat and pore dirt builds up in the gloves, getting out the perforations and into your food.
