@mooseboy18 Yeah, but the whole number is a nightmare. Can't make up it's mind whether it's a song or a recitative, plus the phrasing is so forced and poorly scanned... Anyone would be clueless as to how perform it.

As entertaining as this number is onstage, I just can't see it working in a film version. I think the underscoring would be effective, but perhaps spoken dialogue over it would be better. Or, a truncated version that cuts some of the corniness.

Yes, that part in particular. Some of it could work, it all depends on who directs it and their vision. It just strikes me as a number that could fall horribly flat and seem very tacky if not handled right on film.
