  • No puedo creer que Bruce haga semejante solo y el pelotudo que filmó esto se enfocó en Gene... por favor...

  • Love Bruce, but compared to the Alive II version, he couldn't carry Ace's jock strap.

  • I love how you focused in on Gene during the ripping guitar solo Bruce was doing.

  • BEST LINE UP, MUSIC WISE!!!

  • @robby1969 agreed!

  • did you see paul kick gene ?

  • I wish this version of Kiss would come back. I hate the way they are doing it now. At least this version of the band had its own identity and could stand on its own.

  • @twistofcain1979 : the current lineup does have it's own identity. limiting one's identity to the makeup they're wearing is very narrowminded. they're making new music. in the studio right now making their 2nd album together. tommy's much more a part of the band than ace every was. ace did his own thing and didn't really write songs or work on songs like tommy does. sorry, paul and gene are the core of kiss. just gonna have to deal with it or don't listen.

  • @strutter0812 You are entitled to your own opinion on Kiss. But I beg to differ. If you call Tommy Thayer doing almost the identical solo Ace done in Shock me and Eric doing beth having their own identity . I liked Sonic Boom , but Paul and Gene need to let those two do their own thing. I have been a Kiss fan for a long time. Through the good times and the bad . I just wish they would take the makeup off and get Bruce back if they are going to keep going..

  • actually this song is quite similar to Aerosmith's Toys In The Atic or Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love

  • @ropy89

no, this song is a direct reference to the building of led Zeppelins Communication Breakdown, fast riff without many notes as intro, a solo that gets cranked out at maximum speed and sounds like hell gone loose (the tightest page ever did, especially the muted wah, especially on those bbc album versions).

  • What do you mean take it off!?

    This is a family show...........

This ones called making love......I found this quite ironic......especially at 3:20.

  • This kind of sounds like RATT

  • @lizardkingrevived You mean RATT kinda sounds like this

  • @lizardkingrevived : this song was written in 1976. ratt wasn't an itch in their daddy's pants in '76.

  • @strutter0812 Actually, the group that came to be known as Ratt started in late 76. Do your homework.

  • @TheMusicman1971 : actually '77 so that still predates ratt or mickey ratt or whomever you want. the core of kiss started back in 1969 but there were music changes and bandmember changes so you really can't say kiss' roots started in '69 or even '70 with wicked lester. so saying ratt goes back to '77 is a tad ridiculous. high school bands, garage bands and all those teen LA bands changed bandmembers like they changed their underwear. no way mickey ratt was near the same band as what we saw in 83

  • @strutter0812 Actually late 76. I am not gonna argue that point with you. And that was the only point I was trying to make. I wasn't debating Ratt's roots vs. Kiss roots, so please dont try to start that argument with me. All I was replying to was the fact that you said Ratt wasn't even an itch in their daddy's pants. Ok, maybe not the Ratt we all know and love, but Stephen started the journey in late 1976.

  • this is when kiss was a working band, when they were hungry making awesome shit like revenge and cos

  • 3:18, hahahahahahahaha

  • 3:04 - Always hilarious to see the interaction between Paul and Gene - Paul's probably the only person in the world who can give Gene a gentle stage kick to get out of his airspace and not get fired or killed for it.

  • 9 Ampegs. I'm getting wood.

  • just fuckin' awesome!

  • It's funny how people nowadays who have only recently got into KISS or just heard about them ignorantly spout, "oh yeah, KISS are awesome, but only the 70s stuff mind you, they went so downhill in the 80s and 90s"

Bruce and Eric play this song better than Ace and Peter ever did and Paul's vocals are top notch 20 years after their peak. KISS had to many posers listening to them because it was cool to like them because of the huge stage show etc...

    KISS FOREVER

  • when this was shown on tv, I saw a guy in the crowd videotaping was that you?

  • tremenda cancion

  • GREAT COME ON BACK TO ARGENTINA

  • this is my all time favorite era of Kiss. 1991-1995 ish. with Bruce and Eric Singer. on a guitar level Kulick is a University professor, Thayer is .....the janitor.

  • LOL. So true

  • Well, the question remains - Is that Ann Wilson on bass?

  • lol

  • No. Ann was with them on the Asylum tour

  • Ann Wilson has a lot more talent, lol I love kiss, but girl can sing!

  • kiss most heaviest tour's were rock & roll over, love gun, creatures, hot in the shade and revenge.....the rest werent all that heavy

  • I dont think bruce was trying to sound like ace on the old songs.recreating the 70s sound is thayers only job.

  • u do no though that tommy is the one that taught ace his licks

  • Ace had to be taught his old solos. You make it sound like tommy wrote them.

  • I think us hardcore KISS fans are too over protective sometimes! lol

  • I love that red flame bass ( punisher ) I have see in 1995

  • No, it was just that Gene was standing right in front of Paul´s microphone! No big deal...

  • What's that little gay kick at 3:04? Gene & Paul weren't getting along that day at all.

  • Bruce sounds better than thayer on any solo you want to name.

  • Not really. Bruce was good on a lot of the 80s stuff and great on Revenge but whenever he played a lot of the old KISS songs he didn't have that Ace sound that makes "Klassic Kiss." Thayer, like him or not, brings back that 70s vibe.

  • BRUCE !!!!!!!! ROCKS !!!!!!!!

  • fantastic, awesome, that's a great lineup, the band was heavier and sounded awesome

  • Yes you are right. But try to watch the Rio 83 videos on YouTube as well.

In my opinion that was the heaviest line-up, and maybe their heaviest show to date.

  • LOL

  • the best line-up. 10/10.

  • I remember staying home to watch the night this was on TV. God, was I impatient. It was worth the wait, though!

  • bruce was good on early KISS songs, and love gun,

and then during 80's KISS and REVENGE

    he fuckn nailed those,

  • @hjmnkjmfyrn It would be great if they brought Bruce back into the band .....

  • queee rarrooo cantandoo un temaa de loss 70' con bruce y eric ,y sin maquillaje

  • that's awesome!!!

  • this is a great version. Paul's voice actually had a bigger range in 93 than it did in 77. sure Kiss weren't half the band that they were back in the 70's, but this is still a fantastic version of a great song.

  • i dont like pauls hair that why

  • I was there. It was sooooooo cold that day!

  • And just *where* did Bruce fuck up?

  • Excuse me but are you sane?

That was a great version of a great song and it does NOT sound like Ratt.

  • That kicks ass !!!

They never sounded better.I think at Hot in the Shade and later on Revenge Tour they had their best sounding time...Sorry Ace and Peter

  • it's just doesn't fell right that kiss went unmasked

  • I miss Eric Carr, but this is my favorite version of KISS. Rock solid musicians versus a couple of drunks and/or guys that never practice to get better.

  • Awesome song, but the chorus could be better :P

  • Not bad.. I had stopped listening to them a few years back by

this point. Great vocals by Paul. Miss Peter´s drumming on this one..

  • Hey this is fucking awesome I can't believe Paul just sang it almost exactly like Alive II. I'm in awe and I will watch this again and again. Too bad they are not in makeup. Fuckin' makin love.

  • Bruce really nailed that solo, too. Don't you think?

  • Yeah, they should have used makeup :/

  • ha man awsome

  • Cool stuff!

  • Okay, I never noticed Paul kick Gene outta the way, that was funny.

  • And remember, Paul is probably the only person in the world who can do that to GENE SIMMONS--and live. This was SUCH a fantastic performance--soon after KISS had quietly turned back into a real rock and roll band for a little while, before the makeup came back on and their shareholders took sway again. (Once again--NOT a KISS-hater, I'm just sayin'...)

  • i thought it sounded great

  • do you realize that this is bootlegging AND illegal?

  • do you realize that nobody hear really cares, and kiss won't care unless it goes on a dvd that's sold to the public.

  • yeah

  • Paul forgot to bring his wig to this gig.

  • yeah, paul's hair does look a little bad

  • hahaha paul's little kick is awesome!!! great great great.... "move on, gene"!

  • That song owns, well sung by Paul! Kiss <3

  • clasic lineup had the magic,, but this was the best sounding KISS

  • Stay out of Paul's way, Gene!

  • Bruce's solo was terrible...

  • I thought it was good. I thought the drumming sucked. Where were the toms at the end like Peter used?

  • this is so cool

  • Paul Stanley: THE most unique voice in Rock music. Immediately recognizable!!!

  • mi favorita en 1975

  • Check out Paul kicking Gene away just in the middle of the show, as he is getting back to sing at his mice stand. I guess this show was done right after the interview, that shows a little fight between Paul and Gene?

  • ahaha, That was cool. Nah, they're not pissed. I think that just happened to be Paul's mic. Since it was for tv, every one has their "SET" positions. On tv everyone can't be everywhere.

  • Woah, are these the Troubador shows?

  • Now that was cool

  • THANX A BUNCH FOR POSTING THIS!!! I was just talking about this show, hoping someone had it..

    Thanx again man!
