We all know Africa has many poor people, but what we don't know, which is obscured by all the day-dreaming fantasy-laden delusional claims about India becoming a superpower, that India has both the highest number and percentage of abjectly poor living within her borders. So, there is noting wrong with your video title because over 400 million of the most poverty-stricken people live in India, and we ought to focus on that.
On a serious note, India needs to reassess her form of democracy, which has not delivered. Democracy has not been proven as a sure way to deliver economic growth for countries starting from a low base. India needs less democracy and more authoritarian control to ensure the implementation of national priorities such as birth control, education, sanitation, etc. From there, FDI oriented approach + efforts to shrink her bloated government will go a long way toward a better state of affairs.
