hey i just ordered my spliff and i cant wait.. seen all the vids and reviews etc. but i have a few questioned (probably should have answered before i ordered but you know) ok

1) does the featured spliff in this vid have riser pads of any sort? the deck seems higher than product line photos. i would love if the board came with shock riser pads...

2) are the wheels in this vid really only 70mm? they look like 75's but maybe my mind is foolin me. and if i put riser pads on would 75s still bite?

how do these trucks compare to the gullwing sidewinders? i want really carvy trucks, but i find the gullwings a tad bit too high for me.

@threecheerer I'd go with just a regular reverse kingpin truck. I've never ridden seismics, but I haven't heard much good about them, and I learned on sidewinders and M-1's (sidewinder with one kingpin, basically), and they just don't compare to a Randal, Paris, or Bear truck. The reverse kingpins are a lot more versitile with the hanger flipping and bushing setups and are straight up better for carving and for DH.

I've made better! Seismic tucks suck especially for carving! You shouldn't have someone who weighs one hundred pounds showing off the carve of a board the more weight thrown down on the edge the more carve you're going to see and where are there hills in NY city? but if thats not your question.... the board is a blank wood board that will be printed by adam or derrick (the print artists) custom to your order.

Independent, Gullwing, Tracker etc. are standard kingpin trucks we offer. Standard trucks ride low to the ground and are better for grinding. Reverse kingpin trucks are the industry standard for carving, most common with baseplate options from 30* to 52*. Greater geometry allows tighter carves, acute geometry is better for a stable ride.
