I try to keep up, I really do! Sometimes I just fall behind and once that happens it get's harder and harder to catch up! But I try, I try! lol. Thanks for the comment Gar! Have a good one!
LOL Gregg!!! Will have to check him out!! I loved comics!! I had a bunch of Archie ones...you are right!! I wish we had them now!! You had scary ones eh? LOL:) *****
Yes Jane, please do go to his channel and check it out! I had all kinds of comic books, but my favorite were (and still are) the horror and sci-fi ones, I love them! Thanks for commenting and the stars, have a great day! : )
Great comics vlog, Gregg, and lotsa cool comics on display! I loved the underground comics as well, and hadn't seen the R. Crumb and wife split comic, that really looked outstanding! As for horror comics, I was a huge fan of CREEPY, EERIE, and VAMPIRELLA (as well as Forrest Ackerman's FAMOUS MONSTERS MAGAZINE). I had a copy of CREEPY #1 for years, wish I hadn't departed with it. And of course, the classic EC Comics, all time treasures. Thanks for a great vid and for the kind words! :)
You are so welcome Steve. This was the original thank you video I made for you and before I was actually finished with it, I got the Idea for the other video while watching the movie "They Live", (that's where the subliminal message and special sunglasses thing came in) so I went with the other video. I came across this vid the other day and figured, "ah, why not touch it up and post it". I had to cut a lot out of it too, it was originally over seventeen minutes long! lol
Excellent video. Why was it black and white and green? Where were the Gator Girls? Otherwise, loved seeing the old comics. Do more comic related vids.
Why was it B&W and Green? Why did I dress in a fake wig and beard and alter my voice? lol. I guess it's because I have always marched to the beat of my own drum (even though the timing is slightly off) and I like doing things "out of the norm". Just thought it might make the video a bit more interesting. Thanks for watching and commenting! I will do some more comic related videos too!
Amazing! I never heard of any of those comics...
