actually Punkrokr23 I spoke to Thomas a long time ago the first time I saw them, and he is infact an anarchist.

I dunno about the whole band.

Spoke with Thomas down in MD. Nice guy. I saw a circle-A on his shorts before. Also, given their lyrical content, cited influences, and support base, I'd say Strike Anywhere is itself an anarchist band. They just don't go the Crass route of shouting blatant propaganda incomprehensibly, not that Crass isn't awesome. They do go the overt route sometimes tho. The second verse of 'Ballad of Bloody Run' does feature more overtly anarchist, seemingly communist, lyrics.

ohh pick me ik the answer. weather were totally confertable acepting this humans have been one of the most destrutive forces in our plants history. weve cut down forest, over hunted animals, polluted the air, poisoind the water and left a negative eco foot print no other species can even come close to. wed like to view ourselfs as winners for domnating the planet. but thomas and green anarchist (idk if he really is one) would say were evil because we destroyed our planet. any questions?

There is no band I know of better than Strike Anywhere. Rise Against is just different. Both are awesome. I was disappointed to find out I'd missed them on stage together.
