  • I'm showing at Jefferson in May, any tips? :)

  • does any body know if 15.3 hands is tall enough to be in HUS, i know that theres no limit but i was just wondering because theres always tall horses in this class.

  • @conniescaggs1 - The horse in this video is 15.2 hands at the time. My other horse is only 15 hands & shows well in the HUS.

  • Gorgeous horse and obviously well trained. Looks like alot of fun to ride. People who don't know these breeds don't realize that they are bred to have that headset. It's just the way it comes out of their shoulders and chest. My AQHA is this way. It takes no gadgets or special bits/training. In fact I would have to fight with him to get his head up lol

  • How do you get your horse to have a headset like that? He looks awesome!

  • @EmandPollo He's always been like that. He's never been a high headed horse & just likes to hang his neck out there.

  • @EmandPollo try side reins

  • hes beautiful but im so tired of seeing horses sniffing the ground...get that head up! These are HORSES not HOUND DOGS....i know its standard anymore for "todays" HUS, but its rediculous...

  • @tinacrook .....Umm, the word is "ridiculous". Go read the APHA rule book. If you can.

  • @brbdwyr regardless of how its spelled butt head, it still looks stupid...no self respecting TRUE hunter would carry its head like that in a hunt

  • @tinacrook This is an APHA HUS class, not a hack through the woods. This horse does NOT carry his head high naturally. It is lifted as high as he wants to carry it in the class. Looks like a very nice ride to me!

  • im just saying if it was slower then it would make his stride even bigger. i think he is a very nice horse.

  • I agree. He needs to be a bit strong in his hind end too, that would get him off the forehand more.

  • I would say that he doesn't look too bad considering we placed 2nd in this class to an eventual world champion.

  • trot needs to slow down?? I dont think so blind2934.. Any slower and it would be too slow... he's at the perfect speed...

  • whoa... why is it upside down??

  • april fools day thing..

  • hes beautiful and i nice mover but at the trot he needs to slow down a little an dhe would look just stunning.

  • Judges are not looking for Trogs any more they want true trots.

  • He looks GREAT under english!

  • thats really awesome, nice head frame and trot, plus your horse is so pretty! :D
