While I do get the analogy, making a sucky film and being a sucky parent are two DRASTICALLY different issues. I will NEVER be ready to have kids, so I will NEVER have them. I could re-shoot a film a thousand times if I wasn't really prepared the first 999 times, but there are no 'do-overs' when it comes to parenting.
