As for the talking element that you pointed out to be useless. I find it hard to belive that anyone can pick up and play COD 4 without introducing team tactics into their gampleay and not get extremely bored. One of the greatest parts of that game is team organisation. Even disregarding team play it is even fun to simply bash enemy team over the mic. When i play my ps3 i feel nothing but dead air. It is my opinion however so don't lose sleep over the matter as it should not affect you in any way
nobody on cod4 plays as a team UNLESS you are playing team tactical or sabatoge...those are the only types of matches that use team work...but headquarters and TDM don't use a bit of team work really...

But the xbox live experience is more user friendly and fun. Well my opinion PSN hasn't had the time XBL has had to mature, it still needs to be polished off, it lags behind XBL in a messaging and general communication for example no cross game voice chat, getting friends into games can be awkward (although it is done well in some games) and you'll notice that PSN is quieter than XBL (which i don't have a problem with cause i mute everyone on XBL anyway)
You'll hear a lot of scare stories for xbox fans about PSN but at it's core its a good network.

PSN provides gaming of the same caliber that you will get XBL, matchmaking is quick and easy, games are pretty much lag free and i have never had connection problems (except for when PSN is down for maintenance but that is rare enough). Thats mine general view on PSN, experience can vary from game to game though because it's not as unified as XBL.
PSN may still lag behind XBL in some areas but it's growing in leaps and bounds.

And Blu-Ray may offer incredible graphics, but it takes FOREVER to load and uses up way more disk space. 360 has HD, and that's plenty good enough for me.

But the xbox live experience is more user friendly and fun. There is even subtle differences like hardly anyone talks on psn but it's non stop talking on xbox live. in my opinion psn is dull and dry whereas xbox live is much more inviting. How is PSN boring? How? It is the exact same as xbox live. How is it different? The same guns, the same maps, the same characters...how is PSN boring? If you look at cod4 online, it is not a team game. COD you don't need to talk to your other players, they just get in your way. So PSN is the same as live....except with PSN you can go to ANY website, where as the 360 is limited to netflix, myspace and facebook....so if anything, the PSN network is better.

Experience on LIVE, is much better. It's so much more fluid, and I can invite my friends to a game of CoD in ONE click as opposed to 20,000 steps to invite one fucking friend. Well my opinion PSN hasn't had the time XBL has had to mature, it still needs to be polished off, it lags behind XBL in a messaging and general communication for example no cross game voice chat, getting friends into games can be awkward (although it is done well in some games) and you'll notice that PSN is quieter than XBL (which i don't have a problem with cause i mute everyone on XBL anyway)
You'll hear a lot of scare stories for xbox fans about PSN but at it's core its a good network.

PSN provides gaming of the same caliber that you will get XBL, matchmaking is quick and easy, games are pretty much lag free and i have never had connection problems (except for when PSN is down for maintenance but that is rare enough). Thats mine general view on PSN, experience can vary from game to game though because it's not as unified as XBL.
PSN may still lag behind XBL in some areas but it's growing in leaps and bounds.

K it used to be alot cheaper than the PS3 you could buy it + all the xbox live stuff have 3 years on xbox live and get 2 games about 20 - £30 before it came to the price of a PS3 + the online is alot better and it has better games because people who get PS3 choose graphics over fun + alot of game that are PS3 exclusive are now coming out on Xbox 360 so yeah.... + the controllers don`t make your hands hurt like fuck

X-Box 360's games are far superior to PS3's, and the controller is much better for first person shooters, so that's why I'm an X-Box fan. You just can't top games like Halo and Castle Crashers, and the controller is comfortable and provides for very smooth gameplay.

Okay, PS3 has Killzone, God of War, and Metal Gear Solid. That's it. Also, X-Box Live may not be free, but it is extremely cheap. $50 a year is nothing. Plus, X-Box Live is far superior to PSN and Wii online. And Blu-Ray may offer incredible graphics, but it takes FOREVER to load and uses up way more disk space. 360 has HD, and that's plenty good enough for me.
