David was spectacular. I know the guitarist was just being cute, but an accompanist is not supposed to upstage the performer. I can tell that David has no idea why the crowd is laughing because the guitarist is behind him. Kudos to David for not being distracted.

This is good experience for David. He'll learn to set boundaries (in formal performance settings) with support people and also audience members who may get too involved. (just like a comic needs to know how to handle a heckler)
