Hey Jon, try quickpick for the iPhone, iPod and iPad. This is a very interesting app for the iOS as it takes advantage of the useless space in the notification bar. The app simply adds shortcuts in it! I love to see how you rate it!

not with my case, captures new shots perfectly. The key is, you have to stop half distance of frame to meet that center dot. photosynth renders it pretty quickly for my 3GS. no doubt it should be even quicker for latest ver. of iphones.

For any panorama app, the more your camera lens moves, the more stitching errors there will be in your pano. To shoot a perfect pano, your camera lens shouldn't move at all and the rest of your camera/phone ought to pivot on the lens.

@netlorens Photosynth is much more than panoramas, however their mobile app currently only shoots + views panos, rather than their radical photosynths.

iOS users can use the unofficial 'iSynth' app to view photosynths... but it won't load panoramas. D'oh!

Fortunately, on Windows and Macs, the Silverlight viewer just opens all photosynths and panoramas.

For an example photosynth of mine, visit bit dot ly slash orbitalsynth or search in iSynth for Orbital Propulsion by Nathanael.
