You're way off base.

The light show is based very closely on sound to sight synesthesia, Interstella 5555 images would get in the way of the harmony of the visuals. It would mess up the colour and the motion and distract from the rest of the show. Plus, Interstella 5555 was a completely seperate entity, trying to force it into Alive would seem awkward. I don't want them to chop up a story and scatter it into the light show. Were you seriously watching what I was? Hell no it wouldn't work.
