@455Transam The Lions don't have Barry Sanders, and Stafford nneds to learn how to stay healthy. Johnson has already been figured out. He was shut down by several teams. The other problem is now that you have "made" the playoffs, you will not get the easy schedule you did on '11. You also need to keep Suh from costing you games with penalties, and your coach needs to learn how to take a loss without flipping out. It's time for the big boy pants.
Stafford was healthy this whole season......the line needs to protect him.
Johnson hasn't been figured out he was double teamed, that's the only way to stop him. When they double team him it makes them weak in other areas. The LIONS should have been 12-4 this year, they beat themselves with penalties in about 3 games, they will mature and imrove next year.

The Bears would have easily beaten Detroit (not to mention several other games) the first game with intelligent playcalling, and Martz has been canned becaue of it. Even when he was double teamed he was still making plays because he is the most gifted WR in the league. Face it, Calvin is the best WR in football today and nobody in the league can stop him. Teams can double him , but from what we saw this season it doesn't seem to make a difference because he is that good.

@455Transam The Lions don't have Barry Sanders, and Stafford nneds to learn how to stay healthy. Johnson has already been figured out. He was shut down by several teams. The other problem is now that you have "made" the playoffs, you will not get the easy schedule you did on '11. You also need to keep Suh from costing you games with penalties, and your coach needs to learn how to take a loss without flipping out. It's time for the big boy pants.

Johnson hasn't been figured out he was double teamed, that's the only way to stop him. When they double team him it makes them weak in other areas. The LIONS should have been 12-4 this year, they beat themselves with penalties in about 3 games, they will mature and imrove next year.

The Bears would have easily beaten Detroit (not to mention several other games) the first game with intelligent playcalling, and Martz has been canned becaue of it. Sneaking in is making the playoffs at 8-8 or 9-7 and getting in despite losing the last 4 games of the season because somebody else lost the last game of the season.

Even when he was double teamed he was still making plays because he is the most gifted WR in the league. Face it, Calvin is the best WR in football today and nobody in the league can stop him. Teams can double him , but from what we saw this season it doesn't seem to make a difference because he is that good.
96 receptions for 1681 yards and 16 TDs with an average of 17 yds a catch.

The line with SUE and others is also strong and we'll see what happens with the RB situation.
