  • There wasn't a problem in the end. Since done 9,000 miles on the bike so the repair was good. I'm using the original R1 exhaust so perhaps it's just because it's in the garage?

  • what exhaust do you have because it sounds sweeter than my micron on my 98 R1. hope you fixed the problem.

  • The gear position sensor thinks the bikes in first gear that's why the speedo rises when its revved

  • Hi Nick. I've not connected up the front sprocket and chain yet so the output shaft is free to move - even in neutral. I think this is my problem.
