    That's the President.

    Damn.

  • We got Rick Rolled. Powell didn't weep in tears, He only admitted he cried.

  • I can say, with immense pride, happiness, and sadness that I'm glad that my mother got to witness this 3 months before she passed. God bless america...

  • Mr. Powel you are not alone America is crying now sir. Worst President in U.S. History. 2012 Come Now!

  • @lulumariemissypu You're pretty stupid, worst president in history? There's many presidents who were worse than obama.

  • @GamersFA In history. Obama is the worst President in U.S. history-I won't lower myself to your level and call you names becaused you expressed your opinion. Tick tock, tick tock, 2012 will be here in no time.

  • @lulumariemissypu Explain how he is worse then hoover, the president who presided over the worst economic melt down in united states history.

  • @lulumariemissypu You're so smart. Tell me what he's doing that's so wonderful...and don't send me any more comments-I don't talk to people that call me names.

  • Two years later and people are still crying...

  • What made his win even more special was the added degree of difficulty he had to overcome. He had to be twice as good, twice as sharp and stay focused on the things that mattered and he managed to do it while making it all look so easy and natural.

  • Anyone notice how when McCain mentioned in his speech that he contacted Obama to congratulate him, the crowd boo's. But, when Obama mentions McCain in HIS speech, there is not one boo or sour face, only cheer and applause.

  • @laronmaron98

I am an Iraq war veteran and I would vote for Obama a thousand times. He is an outstanding president and an effective leader.

Our opponents like to bring up the federal debt. You don't get out of a recession without spending money to get the People out of a ditch. Our opponents didn't give a shit when Congress, under Bush, spent trillions on war and gave to Big Pharma but they are suddenly fiscal conservatives when it comes to giving a damn about the People? OBAMA 2012.

  • Colin Powell is the only Republican I would EVER vote for. I respect him deeply and I think people should listen to what this dignified man has to say.

  • @armyveteran101st,

First, if you are a veteran, thank you for your service to our country.

I mention Obama's "fall from grace" as a reflection of his poll numbers.

I'll concede change is tough, but it's not a good sign Americans aren't happy. Obama supporters should feel they're getting what was advertised.

And I believe they aren't. Spending $2 Trillion isn't creative financing or leadership...and so far the "hope and change" we were promised for that sacrifice still eludes us.

  • I have a TREMENDOUS amount of respect for Colin Powell.

And as a Republican I'd give one hell of a lot to learn of his thoughts regarding Obama's performance thus far...if only to get the opinion of a man I trust, as well as his insight.

Obama is suffering one of the most dramatic falls from grace of any American president. If Powell regrets supporting him, I'd like to know why. If he doesn't, I'd like to know why not.

  • @laronmaron98 What do you mean "fall from grace"? The man has had the most productive first two years of any Presidency in recent memory, in spite of the most ferocious, sustained, and largely irrational and hysterical opposition any modern President has faced. And he crowned it all with huge victories during the lame-duck session. I just don't see how that represents a "fall from grace". The fact that large amounts of Americans don't like what he is doing is a good sign. Change is VERY tough.

  • This is the only man I respect in the Bush Administration, and I am white

  • Great man right there, deal with that TEABAGGERS!!

  • hes a puppet!

  • There's only one thing wrong about Powell's reaction to Obama becoming our first black president: Colin Powell should have and could have been our first black president.

  • I'm not American but I cried too.

  • But Collen was not racialy motivated. and Yet every white American in history who voted for a gringo was racialy motivated?

  • GOD is real

  • Which god? Zeus? Apollo? Allah? Yaweh? Which one is right and what evidence do you have that is better than all the other god theories?

  • colin powel only honnest man in bush administration

  • @barril25

wasn't Powel who lied to the world claiming that Saddam has a weapon of mass destruction

  • Colin was right, tht was a pretty moving moment.

  • :45, Priceless!!

  • none of which are president, the change is inclusion of both party sides, and different points of views. What all great leaders understand.

  • Colin you are not alone. I cried too.

  • @trommelbiel I cried as well....knowing how this man would destroy our liberty and constitutional rights. I was right.

  • @sgal88 Can you list any rights or liberties that he has taken from you? Just curious because I can't think of any and I stay pretty current with the news. He expanded gun rights making it legal to carry firearms in our national parks.

  • @UsedNewsToday For starters, he shoved that Obamacare down our very throats. Nancy Pelosi admitted that those who did not pay for it, could be fined or even jailed!

  • @sgal88

Private health insurance is compulsory here in Switzerland too. It's against the law to be uninsured and guess what? The system works superbly. So, will you quit your doomsday scenario stories. You've had your current health system for a long, long time and IT DOES NOT WORK!!! 50 million people are uninsured, and even if you're insured, if you have a big accident or a serious illness, there's a good chance that you could end up bankrupt... Why not try Obamacare? It might just work...

  • @Carehuea First of all, 50 million don't have it cause they DO NOT WANT IT! Second, 60% of the Americans population did NOT want Obamacare which speaks volumes! Massachusetts had its own universal healthcare and it went bankrupt immediately! To force someone to pay for something that is NOT a right is not only against our Constitution but against our God given right!

  • @sgal88

Ha ha, i was almost tempted to destroy your childish arguments but then I read your reply again and thought better of it - it would be impossible to have a rational discussion with you. So goodbye and good luck.

  • @Carehuea There are no childish arguments...60% of Americans DID NOT want this healthcare system and Mass. did instill Universal Healthcare. So it is wise that you should just stick to your own country and I will deal with mine.

  • @sgal88

    - "In an extensive ABCNEWS/Washington Post poll, Americans by a 2-1 margin, 62-32 percent, prefer a universal health insurance program over the current employer-based system"

    - "A CBS News/New York Times poll published in February 2009 reported that 59% say the government should provide national health insurance (up from 40% thirty years earlier)"

It goes on and on but I think you can already see that your figures are made-up bullshit. And BTW, who says Switzerland is my country?

  • @Carehuea First of all, no one even uses ABCNEWS or MSNBC or FOXnews or New York Times polls because all of it has been altered. The only viable unbiased poll that is used is Rasmussen, which accurately predicted by how much Obama will win while the other polls exaggerated their claim. With that being said, 55% of Americans actually want to repeal Healthcare. Nice try though.
