  • I'm a woman, and my range goes down to an octave below middle C. Is that normal? XD I think I'm an alto/tenor.

  • Gotch'ya!! Mistake on 11:50 :D So you're not perfect!! xD Im joking man, this lessions are so good! You sould earn alot of money by teaching everybody. I wish you luck! :P

  • you play to quickly sometimes for me to catch my breath

  • @sarafin07 It seems like that a few times, but then it gets easier! :D

  • thank you so much for these videos! I was looking for a way to improve my singing, and I found it :)

  • okay so if i do these excises everyday will it strengthen my voice because i wanna do the x factor and i dnt wanna lose :(

  • This excercise really helps thanks..but how do i avoid vocal strain?? cause i feel some tightness in my throat after trying these excercises..is this bad?

  • @spaceman12511 Just drink water and don't force yourself to go out of your range. Also avoid singing without warming up first. this will prevent any formation of bad habits and damage to the vocal cords.

  • ok i just saw the related video

  • how do i sing the high notes?? i recorded myself and i suck

  • @MrPapas1991 Practice Practice Makes Perfect, I used to Suck Bad Now im making Decent Progress with my Voice, If i Can do it, You Can do it!

  • Been doing this for 3 days. I am really sooore!

  • you are so cute

  • 2:49

  • I get dizzy when I do this, am I doing it wrong?

  • @Liz0225 It's normal to feel dizzy when you breathe correctly while singing. Don't worry your body will get used to it and you won't feel dizzy anymore. How to I know this? From personal experience :P

  • @MissBlahChick2 Thank you very much :D

  • Check out my channel :)

Thanks to sbgalt for the voice :)

  • i just laughed out loud when my shoulders went up when i breathed

  • its so nice of you to make these videos for people! i mean i know this was from 2008, but still. most websites make you buy a book to learn to sing.

  • it wasn't the breathing that made me breathless...

  • Comment removed

  • Belly breathing!

Sit on the edge of your chair, sit up straight, push your chest out, squish your butt cheeks together and sing! :) Thats what my teacher always used to say

  • bro, you are awsome!

  • I didn't know that you could make singing lessons sound so relaxing... :) awesome vid man

  • cant hear you

  • how can we know that we are singing by our diaphragm ? Is that whole our body will resonace ?

  • @gopdeep stand next to a mirror (optional) and breath in a way that will make your stomach pop out without moving your shoulders that much (or at all). the air will go lower than a normal breath that you take all the time. it might be harder than a normal breath at first.

  • @gopdeep When you sing with your diaphragm you can usually feel it in your stomach area if you push (flex) your stomach out a little bit your breath begins to flow from deeper inside until it fells natural to sing from your diaphragm attempt to breath in without moving your shoulders

  • These are some great lessons. But man, your commercials are ten times as loud as you!

  • Veery nice

  • omg is he cute? I actually enjoy your lessons a lot, everything you play fits my narrow scale perfectly. I hope it'll improve in time. I wish I had a boyfriend like you :)

  • @karoweber just means its above your range. nothings wrong with you.

  • awesome!

  • Anyone else thought this exercise sounded beautiful? :)

  • could someone please answer this question for me, why does my body begin to fell like numb after i do the whole exercise?

  • @ksharky888 You feel like weak or something, I think I Do too... I wonder why lol.

  • :( im having trouble with the "do re mi, mi fa sol, sol fa mi, mi re do, do" part :(

  • at 4:36 i couldnt go any higher lols

  • @lollipwop703 when im practicing singing i keep a cup of hot (warm) tea with me. it helps relax my throat. anything cold will tighen your vocal muscles and actually cause it to crack and make it harder to sing. i learned the hard way, trust me.. lol

  • can u go high? i mean high note? coz i wanna now how it suppose to sound like..

  • i couldnt do it anymore in the ooooo part, my throte started hurting

  • If you are bored sing every time: So i went to her... and then i came. Fuck you!

    so fa mi

    mi re do

  • @6grogers i feel like a priest singing this XD

  • Your really good looking. :D

  • If our voices get tired of the exercise do we stop and get a drink of water or something? Is it normal for your voice to get tired?

  • @macyk99752 Yes your vocal chord is jus like any other muscle if you work out it gets tired so u have to rest it

  • If our voices get tired of the excersize do we stop and get a drink of water or something? Is it normal for your voice to get tired?

  • Watching his left hand when your doing the solfege exercise..quite entertaining..

  • If they do...Stop it.

  • The solfege exercise sounds is so beautiful :)

Do you happen to have sheet music for it? I want to play it myself and practice that way.

  • Thumbs up if you gave up on the me fa so la ti ti la so fa me part -__-

  • you're a very good teacher!

  • Great videos man...work on your charisma a little bit. Presentation is lacking, but I really like what you're doing here!

  • Am I retarded or why cant I play it before 8:30

  • your nervous system become less elastic as you get older, so everything is slightly harder as the years pass but thats no reason not to learn. Just takes a little extra work.

  • Is it true that after a certain age its really tough to learn to sing? (I hope not)

  • fantastic

  • would help if there was more singing , its hard to lets call it "remember" the proper notes sang when you've never heard them at a given "range".

  • Thanks! ♥

  • Do doesn't always mean c. C scale is used often because it is the only natural major scale, (no sharps or flats). Do simply means the first note of the given scale. I hope that clears up any confusion.

  • im you fan !!! hot 

  • YOU ARE GORGEOUS!!!!!! x

  • Just bought your lesson the super bundle thanks man.

  • at the pace you're playing the solfege exercise, i can't sing it. but when i pause the video i can.

  • hey can you please send me piano chords for the solfege, anyone

  • Comment removed

  • Do re mi fa sol la si do.... those are the notes. The "simplified method" is not simple at all, it's just more confusing. Who invented that thing? Why Do, being the first note of the scale ended in C? Seriously, I just can't get it. At least it could be Do=A, but nooooo, it had to be C. I really can't see the "simple" in that method.

  • @miabuelitatocaelpian Historical reasons--the solfège has roots in the Latin hymn Ut queant laxis, at least according to the most popular theory.

  • Two Questions,

How many times a day should i be practicing these?

    And..

When I get up to the point where its too high for me to sing, should I switch to my head voice or should I keep singing from my diaphragm?

    THANKS UR THE BEST

It's gonna help me a lot, amazing material, you explained clearly...

  • @romullogtr lol you said muck :D

  • @rekaepa lol, ops, a little mistake there... :D, Thank you so much...

  • @xXCaitieCatXx

u dont breathe thrugh your chest when singing , breathe through your stomach

  • thx for the videos man!! i just have one question!! after a while of being singing my throat start hurting ,I know that it is because im doing it wrong, and my question is, who can i do it right!!??

  • @mrjuanchoX

thats because you sing from your throat, dont do that , it will damage your vocal chords, sing from your diaphram(tummy) . Push the higher notes from your tummy , practice it like this , it will take you some time but you will learn it eventually

  • the whole time i'm thinking "there's no way he's going to go higher... WTF DOES HE EXPECT FROM ME!!?!?!?!

  • You are hot.

  • Lol i turn my Oh's into Ah's cause i can't help but smile when i practice xD

  • i'm a guy, is it normal to lose your voice as it goes higher ?

  • @willparker14 i hope so, mine was a massive fail
