I have got the improved set (wihtout the boom problem)

@747knarf I just ordered one of these sets. Just wondered if you could tell me if there's a way of knowing if you have the improved set, with boom problem corrected, without building and testing it? The one I'm getting is a sale item which might have been knocking about a while and I don't know if I'll be putting it together right away. Thanks

if you have any problems lowering or raising the arm, or digging... you can call/write to Lego to get a Patch...

i got the patch, which includes some parts to fix the tracks also... the arm and tracks works perfectly now !!!
