  • @alsouthstuff, finally my inquiries about that issue have come to a happy end. The title of the tune is "The Syncopated Walk". It belongs to the Irving Berlin's musical revue "Watch Your Step", opened on December 8th 1914 at the New Amsterdam Theatre of Broadway. The refrain goes: "Look at 'em doin' it! Look at 'em doin' it! / That syncopated walk / Look at 'em doin' it! Look at 'em doin' it! / I know who introduced it, etc.".

  • Where did the sound come from? I understand that it wasn't the original, but was it made specifically for this film? It seems appropriate.
