Tone wise, I'm not doubting that the Jeff Loomis sig. can make a great tone, but it was lacking a bit on your end. I don't know your set-up or anything but in my opinion I think you should use a bit less gain and treble, and more bass to get a more "chunky" tone. (unless it's just your camera) I love this guitar and am extremely envious of you. I'm also glad you're not one of those people who don't know what they're talking about when it comes to guitar. Great review, and cheers!
Nice review, thanks! You mention that the neck is pretty thick, but did you throw that in for people who have never played a seven string, or do you think that the neck is really too thick? Thanks, man!
I've looked all day for a good review of this guitar and stumbled across yours by accident - but it is by far and away the best review I have seen. Very, very good work and very much appreciated, now there'd have been more praise if you'd only have been a left hander.
Awesome guitar, awesome playing, great review! I have yet to see a single video where this guitar sounds bad. That ash body must really do something to the tone of the guitar.
Petrucci fan much? Hehe. Nice review, great examples, makes me want one now. Thanks for the vid!

Can you examine the inalys? I got mine and some of my inlays have a "dimple" or a pinhole it looks like something from the manufacturaing process

I just ordered this in satin red. It actually comes in Eflat with 10s? Thats surprising, are you sure? I thought it came with 9's and standard.

A quick question - how did it come tuned out of the ' box ' was it to standard or a semi-tone flat?
spenser330 1 year ago
@spenser330 It was "semi-tone flat" out of the box. Came with 10- gauge strings

Nice review. I was just wondering what the part starting at 5:27 is from? It sounds like harmonic minor.
