  • Nice voices! My daughter's high school will be performing this later this spring -- and my daughter has tried out for a part (maybe the General?)

  • wow this is amazing! we did this for our musical at my school and we had one good guy in it and we would all just sit backstage cringing at it. i remember ONE time they got the harmony right and it sounded great but this one is TEN times better than ours. well done!

  • epitath singer has a great voice

  • this is so good, oh my god. i can't get over it hah

i've watched this maybe 10 times in the last two nights, after coming home from my own performances of guys and dolls. this is my favorite. ever.

  • SO AMAZINGGG!!!!!!!! yall all sang so good and my school is doing Guys and Dolls this year and im Rusty and this Rusty sang like a BEAST! i love the ending and good job hitting that Harmony at the end B-E-A-UTIFUL

  • Brilliant!! Well done boys-not the easiest of songs to perfect!!

  • GREAT :)

  • good singing and choreography, really liked it... wasn't a fan of the slapstick walking. :P

  • Best amateur version I've seen on YouTube so far!

  • The one in green has a pretty voice. :)

  • This is awesome! we're doing this at my school this year too, hopefully the guys do as good as you guysdid!

I got the part of Arvide. =) but i'm a girl so its Arvidaaa =)

  • to the kids playing various roles

    in your school productions....don't be

too critical of other kids...this partcular

number is very difficult to pull off.

its complicated and three part harmonies

have to be done just right..so have fun

    and rehearse till you drop

  • nicely wasn't meant to be fat...the original nicely was stubby kaye in the bway

    production...so thats the stereotype

but his high tenor ability is more important to the role..

  • I like that nicely he is really good!

  • i thought nicely was meant to be fat

  • Phenominal voices

  • It's a shame the rest of the cast don't seem to be in cosutme.

  • nicley is awesome!

  • Rusty has a really good voice.

Nicely has definetly got the character down, and his accent is practically flawless. Good job!

  • nicely is very obnoxious, overacting, trying too hard to sing in character voice.. yet he's still the best one in this video, by a lot.

  • Rusty. Just wow.

  • Dude. Nicely is perfect. Great Accent, Great singing.

I'm playing Benny in my schools production in February.

  • Heh. Agreed. I'm playing Benny in my school's production in the spring, too. :)

  • That Nicely Nicely is simply marvelous! I love him!

  • rusty sings way too nice

nicely does a great job though

  • Awesome! What is RPHS?

  • Roselle Park High School

  • very talented... your over the top is perfect for the stage.... you'll be big someday... We just did this show at my college, played Rusty myself... Not as good as us of course. lol ;)

  • I loved it, great choreography, brilliant singing especially Rusty, although at some points the three wildly different timbres were grating!! But otherwise I haven't seen a better amateur production, well done!!

  • Absolutely magnificent!

Wish my production of G&D would have had an opening number like this, although I did try my best! (I played Benny)

  • the guy playing Rusty, has a particularly great voice!

  • well done for nailing the trumpet, sounds like the first one on youtube to actually do it ahah!

  • bravo!! well done for a high school level!

  • these boys are so talented!! Kudos to them!

  • best high school trio i've heard! fantastic job guys

  • Omiosh! theres a group of people on this earth thats under 30 that can sing this properly! thank the lord! (and i said to myself sit down....)

    Fantastic job!

  • That was fabulous! And not even just for a high school production, very impressive in general.

  • you got the horse right there--good job!

  • Fantastic, fellows! I did this play in 1977, and I thought no one would ever do it better..You win the prize!!

  • so far this is the best one i have seen, the singing is amazing

  • I was a little wary from the description, but this might be "THE BEST (high school) OPEN NUMBER OF GUYS AND DOLLS!!!". Great job!

  • the kid playing nicely nicely is really good :]

i'm in guys and doll's right now, and our nicely nicely isn't near that good.

  • Everyone in this video deserves to be on broadway! seriously

  • hm that must be a rich high school. our high school plays the sets were made of like a box and a poster! lol. yeah, we didnt have professional artists. american high school is different.

  • That was a lot better than all of these other high school ones I've seen and yours was super cool and well done and yeah mad props to you guys

  • Hey everyone, I am the one who played Rusty Charlie, thank you for all the comments. This year RPHS put on "Anything Goes" in which i was casted as the lead, Billy Crocker. Most of the numbers were placed on youtube. Search Anything Goes RPHS to see em!!!!!!

  • Even though I'm sitting down, I'm giving you a standing ovation.

  • Did you just quote The Producers there? ;)

  • what? no one is lip sinking...

  • That was GREAT. I did this show in middle school and it sucked. I felt soooooo bad for our leads.

  • this version is probably the best on youtube great great singing everyone and A+ on your acting.

  • absolutely incredible for high school singers!

  • Amazing!

we're going to do our show soon

we're a MS for the arts so i hope we'll do well :D

    bravo!

i love Rusty's voice soo much

  • How is Zach now? I didn't got any news about him since I am not in high school anymore.

  • Zachary is doing much better. He remains in remission. Keeping busy. Thanks for asking.

  • he's gonna make it through i know it, God Bless Him

  • Definitely one of the better versions I've seen! Bravo!

  • also, I love they guy who plays Rusty Charlie's voice

  • This is amaaaaazing

this can't be a highschool production.. who put this on?

  • The play was done by Roselle Park High School in 2006.

  • Wow. That's veeery impressive

  • This is a high school production? Better than a lot of professional ones. Great!

  • This was a Roselle Park High School production done in 2006. We are glad that you enjoyed it.

  • Right have to say i just typed in fugure of tinhorns on youtube and i been watching all of them that dif people dont have to say this is the best one! The acting was fab and one thing ive noticed with this song is no-one gets the real sense of competition between the singers so everyone is just singin at the same volume which is wrong, but you guys did it perfect i rate it 5 :) well done

  • now that was good

the voices, the choreography, the music, the set

    everything very well done

nice that none of the singers drowned each other out as sometimes happens

    well done, men!

  • awesome voices, great harmony. love it.

  • BRAVO!!!

  • pretty good (better than some I have seen)

  • THAT WAS GREAT!!!
