  • Good work Manu. I am working on the same problem here in BC Canada. We try to teach people because the problem originates in peoples minds and that is where the problem can be solved.

  • Great video, I really liked it you got a bunch of great footage.

  • we should kill the ducks, they are eating the eggs. we should sue them for adding to the loss of eggs  lmao. it is sad though they are lossing numbers.

  • Wow, I didn't know they were endangered. Why do they have to die after first spawn though?

  • They expend more energy to create larger eggs, which are more likely to survive. This basically kills them though. See Crespi and Teo 2002 for more detailed info on recent findings. How semelparity evolved is still a mystery for the most part.
