  • John Tudor helped me out with a story I did on one of his minor-league teammates, as well as his own story. A very straightforward and unpretentious guy, he seems always to have been the same.

  • I was always a Red Sox fan although when I went to college in the Midwest I used to catch the Cardinal games on the radio and the Cardinals became my home team away from home. I've seen alot of great pitching seasons in my day-Carltons 27-10 in 72, Guidry's 25-3, Clemens 24-4 in 86, but Tudors 21-8 in 85 was just as impressive. He went 21-1 after a 1-7 start and had 10 shutouts with a 1.14 era in that span.Could have had 2-3 more as there were a couple of he times he left with the score 0-0.

  • Thanks for posting. I was a big Tudor fan after he joined the Cards in '85. If you know Mr. Tudor, please send him warmest regards from a Whiteyball fan.

  • @ihtnep Thank you for watching! I'll pass it along

  • This made my day!! John Tudor was one of my ALL time favorite pitchers for the St. Louis Cardinals, and I've always wondered what he was doing now. Thanks again!!

  • @seanmccormick37 Thanks for watching! I'll let him know you enjoyed it!
