It is one thing to learn the notes but to give the music real expression that is something else. Your beautiful playing is a model for any of us trying to find the soul of these deceptively simple pieces. Glad I found your site, thank you for sharing
I passed a blind musician in the street who was playing Memories of the Alhambra. Inspired me to seek out the music of Tarrega. Really love your renditions of his work. Thanks
Peo - out of curiosity, in the 8th measure (I believe), shouldn't your bass note be a G instead of an E???? I mean no disrespect, I love your playing - you're leagues beyond my skill level - but I've just learned the piece and the E caught my attention.
Saludos

Thanks Mr. Kindgren for sharing your video with us! I have known this for a year now, and for me this is still the nicest and best interpretation of this piece that I have heard so far. With the spare time I can find to play my guitar, I am trying to get there, but as we all know, it is not easy at all. :)
Mr.Peo.Your rendition was neat and expressive. It is a difficult piece and needs controlled play.A good quality guitar is a must for pieces like this as otherwise one cannot even attempt playing it.Thanks for posting.
Dear Per,,,even in your expressions you show people their lack of knowledge,,,not just long pieces are beauty because of measures,,but in the way you play it,making a short playing sownd like a master piece, para bens and much more.........
