  • Can't not say anything about yours. There are so many beautiful pieces that I have seen.

In specially, You have played best with pieces of F.Tarrega.

  • Your playing is absolutely beautiful! Great contrast, great dynamic, great feeling. Great technique as well! You're an inspiration!

Just out of curiosity, what guitar do you play?

  • you play with great texture and emotion. it really helps to learn it

  • You have such beautiful artistic expression!

  • It is one thing to learn the notes but to give the music real expression that is something else. Your beautiful playing is a model for any of us trying to find the soul of these deceptively simple pieces. Glad I found your site, thank you for sharing

  • I passed a blind musician in the street who was playing Memories of the Alhambra. Inspired me to seek out the music of Tarrega. Really love your renditions of his work. Thanks

  • Thank you for your art !

  • What a wonderful touch you have...the wood echoes a lovely soul.

  • Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful playing. I love everything about your postings here on youtube.

  • Just got the sheet music from my teacher today. Many frustrating days and nights to come...

  • one of the best interpretations on youtube. The pacing and dynamics are fantastic.

i would like to learn it

  • fabulous technique! and such a lovely musical sensibility-- a real talent!

  • Peo - out of curiosity, in the 8th measure (I believe), shouldn't your bass note be a G instead of an E???? I mean no disrespect, I love your playing - you're leagues beyond my skill level - but I've just learned the piece and the E caught my attention.

  • @MrComHelper I believe Tarrega's Mazurkas were not about technique but more of feeling and emotion. Like this piece, he must have had a great dream.

  • Very well played ! It seems I can't find a decent tab or score like the one you are playing. Anyone who can help me?

  • this is a very nice little piece and you play it with the simplicity that fits to the style - great sound, suttle touch , really fine playing !

    cheers !

  • Splendid, brilliant, magnifique..

As always, any dark moment in ones life can be lit up by your music. Thank you so very much for continuing contributing your fantastic pieces here on youtube. LOVE!

  • This is one of my favorite piece by Tarrega!

    So relaxing and smooth.

    AHHH! I need to practice..

  • very nice,

but if you listen to Tarrega's version, he plays it much quicker.

    but still very nice.

I also have a version of this, but very badly. :)

    Per-Olov

  • Thanks Mr. Kindgren for sharing your video with us! I have known this for a year now, and for me this is still the nicest and best interpretation of this piece that I have heard so far. With the spare time I can find to play my guitar, I am trying to get there, but as we all know, it is not easy at all. :)

  • brilliant

  • Hi. Thanks for listening and for you rkind comment. I hope you will practice this a lot and play it. It would be great if we could hear it on YT! :-)

No, NOTHING is easy on a guitar but that's the beauty of it, isn't it?:-)

    Kind regards,

    Per-Olov

  • Hi! I am sorry but I missed your comment.

Thank you. I am honored you listen to me and happy that you also will try this. It's great fun :)

    Please keep listening.

  • "Tarrega is the king"

well it looks like Peo's taken the throne :)haha

  • Great Play Peo, i hope you upload some lessons so that i can study on this.

    Greetings from The Netherlands

  • A geat pleasure to listen to this perfect recording

  • is there any way to get music or tabs for this? or all of taregas works?

  • Mr.Peo.Your rendition was neat and expressive. It is a difficult piece and needs controlled play.A good quality guitar is a must for pieces like this as otherwise one cannot even attempt playing it.Thanks for posting.

  • Thanks a lot! I am honored by your comment.

    Thanks for listening.

    Per-Olov

  • you should definitely cover Capricho Arabe by Tarrega.

you would put the best emotion into it. like all of your songs

    =]

  • and recuerdos de alhambra of course!

  • Hi! I am sorry for the late reply but I have been traveling and playing concerts in France.

I do play Capricho Arabe here on YT! Please make a search.

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • tarrega is the king

  • me encanta! felicidades por lo que haces.

  • Dear Per,,,even in your expressions you show people their lack of knowledge,,,not just long pieces are beauty because of measures,,but in the way you play it,making a short playing sownd like a master piece, para bens and much more.........

  • Oi amazing like to see you do Goldberg Variation.

  • great touch. very nice

  • Hi Per

I Am A 15 Yr Old Boy With An Option Of Playing This Song,Adelita, or Lagrima For A Competition.

I Have Been Playing Guitar For 3 Years And Classical For 1 Which Song Would You Recommend For Me To Play...I Wish A Challenging Piece For Which I Wish To Turn Into A Beauty.

You Have Become A Great Influence On This Young Boy Who Desires Nothing More Than The Pleasure Of Making Beautiful Music.

    Regards From Us

    ,Isaac

  • Dear Isaac,

Have you tried F. Sor. All his studies are great music. Or Maria Linnemann (MguitarL here on YT)? Or baroque composer Robert de Visée. His d-minor suite is great!

    Good luck!

    Per-Olov

  • Well if i am honest this is not an hard song i am playing it myself (i am 15), but it is played on a great guitar and also you are very good

  • No this is the easiest piece I play on YouTube. But easy pieces can be just as beautiful as difficult... :-)

    Kindly,

    Per

(BTW: the guitar isn't the best...)

  • my very best congratulations master! You have a very warm and expresive sound and a great technique. I enjoy with your music. Surelly you put in each perform all senses.

  • Thanks a lot! Kind regards,

    Per-Olov

    MVH,

    Per-Olov

  • Tack så mycket!

  • Impresionante! Fantástico! Insuperable! Bravo!!!!!!!!

  • yeah man i know you're not brazilian i was answering a man who comented that here in brazil there are not good guitar players that it is not true. the prove is you( a swedish guitar player playing very well badem powel and pernambuco)

  • Bravo Per! Encore! Tarrega made great use of chords in his songs, didn't he? Isn't there a tremolo part to this too?

  • Hi Jon,

Thank you. No this is not the same Sueno... There is another piece by Tarrega named Sueno with tremolo. I had the same confusion years back!! :)

    Kindly,

    Per

  • man are u realley brazilian? don't you know nonato luiz or turibio santos or rafale rabello or badem powell .... brasilian music is the best!

  • Hi, Peo. Wonderfull, as always. I'm from Brazil and here, we don't see talents as you "live". Keep on recording your pieces for us! Thank you

  • Ola! Abrigado! I am happy you like my version of this.

    Kindly,

    Per

  • Correction : is "Obrigado !" not "Abrigado!"

  • LOL Thank you! And it is; it's "Obrigado"... not is..

    LOL

    And the score is 1-1!

    Per

  • x'D

  • ;-)

  • Hi Peo! It's me again! I'd like to buy myself a present for Christmas: your CD! Do you think it'll be released by then? You're a great inspiration to me and would like to take some classes at your school...maybe one day it'll be possible!

  • Hi there! Thank you. I hope my CD will be ready before Christmas. I'll let you know, OK?

Well, maybe some day we meet and play.

    Kindly,

    Per

  • Merci beaucoup! c'est un enchantement de vous écouter :-)

  • Are you sure this is Francisco Tarrega's Sueno? The version I have of F.Tarrega's Sueno is a tremolo study in A major.

  • Yes I am. There are two Suanos! This and the Tremeolo

    Kindly,

    Per

  • I'm going back through your line up here, can you tell? :) This is one that sticks in my head for days once I hear it. I love it.

  • Thank you Amy,

I'm happy you listen to me!!

    Hug,

    Peo

  • Is it just me, or does the A section to this piece sound practically identical to Chopin Op7 No2?

Eitherway, I enjoyed the interp greatly! Muy bueno indeed!

  • No, it's not only you! :) It is very similar... but not the same! Mille gracie! :)

    Peo

  • Eek, sorry, Op 7 No 1 I meant to say. Iv been thinking alot about the influence of Chopin on Tarrega. Seems Tarrega practically quoted him on many occassions. Take the intro from 'Las Dos Hermanitas'... an ALMOST direct quote from Chopin's Waltz Op 34 No 1.

    Ok, enough geek talk... (blush)

    Bravo Don Peo!

  • very nice

  • Thank you!

    Peo

  • nett.

  • This one takes me back to my grade 4 exam, when I played it in a church! Thanks for the memory!

  • hahah Is that a good thing??? :P

  • In addition to being a good guitarist, it sounds like you are also a good sound engineer/recordist/producer as well. Nice work. Your material alwasy looks and sounds very nice. What reverb plugin are you using? What mic or mics do you use? Where do you place them? Just curious.

  • hadihein,

I'm very happy for your comment. Thanks! Why not make your own videos?

  • Exactly! Why not... make a video.. I did.. I butcher an amateur song (compared to what you play)... But I put it up there.. I love this style.. but I just don't put in the time practice wise.. I really should.. This whole You Tube thing is freaking inspiring though I have to say that..

  • Peo Kindgren is a discovery for me. I play myself the classical guitar and many of the pieces he plays since more than 40 years. But he has a wonderfull touch and timing. Bravo Peo!!!

  • muy bueno
