i find it funny how Chucky's creator is officially listed as quite possibly the only openly gay horror writer in Hollywood and yet it's somehow treated as some kind of trade secret. so, what, does he get a free pass for writing ridiculous camp movie after movie or doesn't he? would a straight writer still have a career in Hollywood if he consistently produced camp and called it "horror" in the same way? more importantly, why does nobody see the "camp decline" of the series is NOT accidental?
