  • I can't get Screen+ to work at all. Or even what it is for. :(

  • If the monitor stands right back against a wall, whats the closiest distance between the back of the screen and the wall? hope you get my question ^^

  • good for games?

  • @ema1666

From my point of view, I think it is good for gaming. It's an LED-backlit display. The white is whiter and the black is darker than LCD monitors. It has 5ms response time, it is not exactly the fastest but it's quick. Given it's price point and thinness, it is excellent. There's no yellowish tint on the white area of the display. BTW, I only play DiRT 3, StarCraft 2, Crysis 2 and COD Black Ops. They all seem great with this monitor. Even my college uses this monitor in our labs.

  • can you help me??? my monitor, osd menu lock.. if i touch the illuminating touch key it said "OSD locked"... why??

  • @FiQPCGamer

You probably have i-Menu installed on your Windows and have used it to configure your monitor settings. You can only use either the i-Menu or physical buttons on the monitor to configure the settings. They don't work simultaneously. If u want to use the physical touch buttons, you will have to give up the i-Menu. The i-Menu only supports monitor with VGA connection, I use DVI now so I haven't been using it for a while now. If my memory serves me well, it's locked bcuz u use i-Menu.

  • @Darrynite

    thanks.. :D

  • i don't use double screens so I don't know much. But I think maybe you can change the color profile at "Color Management" to match the color between 2 monitors. Type "Color Management" at "Windows Search program and files" to launch the utility tool. However, I think it is almost impossible to make 2 different branded monitors to display the exact color, brightness or contrast. Anyway, good luck.

  • I just bought one. Can't seem to set the color well enough to work with my ASUS main monitor. I bought it for a second monitor to split screen. The colors are WAY OFF from each other. Any help on your end? How can I tweak them to be relatively similar color wise? Considering returning it and just going the extra 50 bucks and just get another ASUS. What say you? Thanks for posting your video.

  • Do you know what the screen plus thing is? I have the 20 inch model but I can't seem to find it.

  • @ruhulaminutube

the screen+ is a small software (around 2MB if not mistaken) that you need to install to your computer and it enables you to snap windows into different sections, something quite similar to Windows 7's Aero Snap or AMD Graphics HydraGrid. You can find the software setups from your drivers CD

  • @Darrynite - Finally someone that knows! Thank you.

  • @Darrynite

Do you know where i can get my hands on this software? I don't have the CD that came with the monitor so i am stuffed.

  • @dataonly76

Hi, I already posted a reply 3 days ago, but apparently Youtube messed up my reply. So, here I am on my 2nd attempt. Screen+ is exclusive on drivers CD only obviously, so I uploaded it for you to download. Check the link at the video info section above. Let me know if the link is broken. Thanks for commenting on my video.

  • @Darrynite

I tried to reply yesterday but somehow can't do it using my iphone so have to wait till i got home to do via pc, not so sure whether its the prob with youtube or my phone. Anyway, thank you so much for uploading the screen+ software, now i can use that feature of my e2342f2k monitor, so far so good.
