Thinking about it now, I should have added the titles of all the tunes Horslips covered.
I'm sure you are aware that practically everything Horslips recorded ( on their first 5 0r 6 albums at least) where re-inventions of old Irish, English, Scottish and Welsh folk music!
Hitchiking Ireland (walking backwards slowly) with Horslips on my headphones was great.Whoever picked me up and out of the rain should live long and prosper!
No, Miss Wyllie and O'Hagan, I'm afraid my only talent(?) is Rubbing my head and Patting my stomach at the same time...Hold on!..scrap that, I just tried and it seems I'm unable to even manage that small feat of multi tasking...Ha ha!
No, I found these images on various sites and thought they would go well with the tune. I'm just practising useing moviemaker to be honest, Minimalism seems to be the way to go, I'm quite happy with the "Shamrock Shore".
Ah and this is 'Thugamar fhein an samhradh linn', check out the gorgeous version on the 'T with the Maggies CD'!

@lukessummer It's fun to try and work them out and realise where you've heard them before!

Thanks for your reply LukesSummer.
You did a great job selecting the images and putting them together with this music.
Who needs to rub their head and pat their stomach at the same time anyway:)
All the best with Moviemaker.
