But still, awesome band... and this song's so awesome and nuts playing it like shit doesn't make them shitty instrumentalists, they're just biting off more than they could chew that night. They must've been exhausted or tired or drunk or something- was this at the end of a set or what? Haha. I hear all sorts of off notes on the dual guitars, the drums are faintly out of whack... haha. But I love Steve Flynn's STYLE more than anything.

Atheist is a band who've gotten a massive cultlike rabid fanbase who don't like hearing "the truth" and that the "gods at Atheist" (irony of that statement aside) can do no wrong. I think the new guitarists aren't up to par on the material (in this video) is all. This practically isn't the same Atheist who wrote these songs 18 years ago.
