Interesting collection of players...Penny Hardaway, awesome. Toni Kukoc-Part of the initial wave of Europeans, I'm sure. Chris Webber-Pretty damn good, too. Sam Cassell-Was an alien, and got a couple championship rings PJ Brown-Played forever, Byron Russell-Pretty damn good coach. Shawn Bradley-Shouldn't have been picked at number 2, but retired with 2119 blocks, 10th all-time when he retired, 13th all-time now, plus he's number 9 in career blocks per game, 2nd in block percentage. Good group.
what the heck happen to Dino Radja, he was good player for celtics but after his 2 or 3 rd year, after that, nothing bout him, any one know what happen to him ???
@swl9380 Pitino traded him to the Sixers in the offseason when he became coach but Dino failed his physical in Philly. So, he decided to go back to Europe which in retrospect was a good decision because of his bad knees.
i remember this rookie class it was the first draft i paid attention to i was like 12yrs old. I made sure i collected all the rookie cards from that year and i also remember getting a c web jersey from when he was in golden state. Man it was fun to be a kid back then.
NBA gets an A for creativity back in the day, using "Phenoms" and "Sensations" instead of just "Rookies" and "Sophomores" or "West Rookies and "East Rookies".
00:12 look at the smile of fucking shawn bradley haha, I think he smiles becouse he would become bith of NBA in later seasons... everyone dunkes on his ass haha
thanks for upload. great class..although toni and doni aren`t real rookies, but each one of them a class of their own;-) and penny was a outstanding player, maybe he would have become one of the greatest to play the game, if there weren`t his enjury problems...
Shawn Bradley, the reason why drafting super tall guys will not fulfill your team needs. Dino Radja, greatest player ever haha. Sam Cassell never got any quicker. I never liked Van Exel because of his cockiness. Antonio Davis at 4:19 saying "I can't wait till this game is over so I can watch the dunk and 3 pt. shootout contest after."
Ah sorry man.. as soon as Penny gets the MVP, I got an episode of Hangin With Mr Cooper starting! Back in the day VHS tapes werent cheap for a 12 year old!
@baldheadkid Oh no worries man, I appreciate you putting this up in the first place. I love 90's ball, and love Penny Hardaway. I never caught this game so that's why I was mad anxious to see the very end. Ha, even though its almost 20 years old. WOW
Thank you so much I used to watchthis game every day studying Nick and Pennys moves.I lost the tape have it back home but at least I get to see it though thanks bhkid!
Wow, I remember watchin this back in 94... That was a pretty good draft class!! I think only Kukoc, Cassell and Lindsey Hunter have championship rings.
shawn bradley rules! greatest center in the NBA until today!
