everyone is amazing in this, but sandy's voice (while terribly amazing!) is just too...manly for hte part. i mean shes awesome her voice is just not...'sweet' enough for the part

I don't believe this song needs choreography, we had a couple of simple steps, the rest was focused on the emotion of Danny and Sandy. Unfortunately, I lost Sandy as a character because I could only hear her wonderful belt, no emotion. Throughout the song, the choreography continues to take away from the story you're trying to portray. "Tell me more, tell me more, was it love at first sight" Sandy is stepping out of sync with the pink ladies.

Our school did Grease in 2007, I played Sandy. But I am not comparing myself to this cast. I believe the voice of Sandy is too strong, would have suited Rizzo more. Sonny's accent slips in and out of American. The blocking of the girls is ordinary, as they are in a straight line. It's a bit boring. The cast needs to work on accents. I am guessing this is a dress rehearsal or sitz probe, as the MD sang over the top.

I agree, the lady that plays Sandy has an absolutely awesome and strong singing voice...maybe too strong though for the character of Sandy.

Ok all Sandy's I've seen have this powerful strong like Ariel voice, it isnt right. They need a soft, sweet, innocent voice. That is the way Oliva Newton John did it. If i'd ever play sandy id do it that way, not belt it.

Sandy has some /power/ which I personally think is refreshing, if perhaps a litlte out of character. On the other hand, she's not a weak character, just peppy, which is still coming through. I like it. Her voice is definitely much more grown up than the rest of the cast.
