Good-Bye John Henry

I first saw him at the Horse Park in 1989. Again in 1991. I visited him several times after I moved to KY in 2006. I was there the day before he died...glad I got to say goodbye. Thanks for sharing!

i know John Henry! i was at the horse park in 2008 and actuary saw him in person! he had his attitude but at the same time he was a big sweet heart! RIP JH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wasn't big on horse racing but stories of JH interested me. Did he really stop and look at his TIME on the toteboard after winning a race? I'd heard this from some friends one time. Thanks U2B for all JH videos.

I'm not 100% sure if he did that. Lol. He might have looked that direction but not looking at his time. All I know is that he was one of the meanest tb's out there. He was just a little fiesty! haha!

It's March 25th, 2008 and I miss him as much as ever. My small contribution to ensuring he will be remembered...my license plates on my car read " JNHENRY".
