  • that saus does seem a good combo with the chicken

  • whats heavy cream

  • @raishell07 There's whipping cream and table or heavy cream. Whipping cream has more fat in it. You can use either one, it won't really make any difference other than clogging your arteries about a year faster! But with food like this, who cares?

  • SWEET I tried this recipie yesterday,it was AWSOME!!!!Thanks for the recipie!

  • You could also blacken the chicken with creole seasoning (I use the recipe Emeril has on FoodNetWork), add a tablespoon of it to the sauce and leave out the basil. That might be interesting too. I'm going to try it both ways this week. Thanks for the recipe and for making me laugh!

  • LEMME BUILD THE TOWAH

  • Hi Di, Where ya been? Hope all is well with you and yours. Merry Christmas!

  • I think it is just regular heavy cream, because it looks to liquid for sour cream

  • wat kind of cream do i add?? i want to try this recipe : )

  • I loved this recipe so much I just had to cook it. I'm making it as I type. I'll let you know about the results. I hope it turns out OK and I can make you proud Diana. :)

  • Diana is much too kind about Giada. Yes, she only eats tiny amounts, but she also makes her job very easy by cooking tiny amounts. I watch as Ina and Rachael (etc) lug heavy pots around with enough food to feed an army, make several involved recipes...then here comes Giada. Sorry, Dee..but if I see her spread one more little thing on tiny peices of oven toasted bread, I think I'll go bonkers. She left the Chef jobs b'cuz it was hard work. No duh! Give me real cooks like Diana.

  • I would recommend this to anyone. It's not only delicious, its also easy, fast, and not too costly. I double the sauce because my gang loves it on the chicken too & I can also make a tad more pasta...other than that, I do it exactly as Diana says...it's great!

  • OMG!!!! That is the best pasta sauce I've

ever tasted! Thank you SO much...this dish is "off the HOOK"!!!!

On the chicken I just did it in a pan cause I found I had tenders and they were pretty thin. I used montreal seasoning and lemon pepper to season it.

    Wonderful recipe, Diana. =D

  • So glad you like it Katt!!!

    (((HUG)))

  • Everyone I've given it to or described it to, asks for the recipe! And I always give you the credit. You Rock!

  • 10*********YUM!

  • Wow. Really, really good doesn't even come close. I cook for two grandparents and all the nieces and nephews on a regular basis. You are a great cook and a great teacher! I can tell you that your recipes are Appreciated by three generations of my family! We live in the west, so your recipes are so exciting to so many people!

  • Hi Diana! I am looking to buy one of those grill pans that you were using for the chicken. Can you tell me which one you have and would you recommend it? Thanks! Your show is great, we love you! Hi to Frankie! Laurie (Jersey Girl living in TN)!

  • I actually got that pan at the local market here for like $10 and was surprised at how good it cooks. Don't know the name of the brand. You might try looking on Amazon. Thy have great selections on cast iron grill pans.

  • You should call it Diana's Pink Sauce, LOL. (:

I'm hoping to try this recipe, soon.

  • I almost burned the new kitchen down heating up a burger from Wendy's...Didn't know it was foil =P.

that a granite counter? that stain easily? I Just got one installed the other day...expensive as hell.

    the sauce looks good =)

  • Yes it's Granite. I seal it every 6 months... it's not as porous as marble and doesn't stain as easily.

  • Ohhhhh Ok,I have the sealer. I'll put that on it tonight,I Have 12 feet of counter top lol...and a marble table...WTF is with all the rock huh lol.

  • Okay Princessa tu y Frankie son Italiano o hispano, perque yo no entiendo......

    -Paula

  • Hey Di, I tried this recipe tonight, and my 19 yr. old daughter and 16 yr. old son LOVED it! The only change I made was, I used my own tomato sauce, same amount, and I marinated the chicken in lemon juice and italian dressing for 5 minutes before grilling it on my gas grill. My daughter even asked for the recipe! LOL! Thanks for the great recipe!

  • not cool bianca

  • That sure looks good!! We are inspired to try this out!

  • Sorry I haven't been around in a long time. We had this tonight for dinner and my girls said how great it was. A new family favorite! Thanks so much for sharing. Keep the recipes coming!

  • Love it!! I'm making this for sure!!!

  • Making this tonight and FILMING it! Hopefully Lexi will enjoy it just as much as she enjoys destroying your blocks!

    Down with the establishment!

  • Diana! You are a piece of work! That baby is precious!!! I want to cook with you, drink with you, build blocks with you, eat with you, make fun of Frankie with you.

I SO thought you were Italian Diana. I even told my mom that you could be any one of our cousins. It makes sense....not much of a difference chica :)

If I was saying it in Italian...it would MOST DEFINITELY be BELLA!

    Love,

    Colleen

....the Italian one with the Irish name...still trying to get over the idenity crisis

  • I think a lot of people assume I'm Italian because I grew up in an Italian neighborhood and have that Brooklyn accent from them. I guess I have the same Identity crisis as you... this calls for a drink :)
