i just got a '08 grand prix gxp what can i do to get more horses outta it, not lookin to spend alot of dough just something basic..i would like to add @ least another 80 horses ?
@biggshig I'm not sure about 80HP, but a good intake, a catless downpipe, and a catback along with a good dyno tune from a good tuner should get you...30hp at the wheels or so. I sold mine over a year ago so I forgot how the LS4 responds to these mods exactly. Sign up on ls1 tech dot com and go to the LS4 section, lots to learn there.
@NikoIsCool1 You haven't seen all the Cadillacs with the Northstar V8's from the early 90's and up? Cadillac had a convertible coupe with a 500ci V8 that was FWD in the late 1970s, I think.
@CrayonIsFTW Yeah, I'd purposely give myself flat spots to deal with in everyday driving. Hence why it was done on the way to the tire shop to replace all four tires, bud.
Of course you needed tires after that lol. Those potenza's are expensive that come on there. Believe me, 116k miles on my GXP and I have done tires twice now.
thanx alot man i appreciate it.

do u put it on first and slam the gas and brake
Spanishboy91 8 months ago
@Spanishboy91 Gas and brake at the same time wouldn't work out very well on a front wheel drive car. Ebrake on, stall it up, release brake & go WOT.

Try taking TC off, and possibly doing it on a bit of an incline. You'll get it cause I did it in my N/A 3800.
