  • No clue if this is the wheatland tornado or not (there were a lot that day) but I saw it coming towards my house in Rochester as the front advanced. It was a beautiful pink, red, and orange sunset and the tornado was moving directly at me. Far, far way away though. I then saw it veer off to my left and hit my friend's neighborhood and house. Maximum range possible, probably 20-25 miles away. I helped with the clean up afterwards... it was major damage. Friend lost the entire house.

  • No, this is the one that was actually in the city of Kenosha. It was the same day though, probably an hour later.

  • This was the tiny tornado that hit my house. I live in Hunters Ridge. I was taking a nap upstairs when it happend. My lil sis came to wake me up to go downstairs the very minute the tornado came. We heard it and just looked at each other... wondering if it was just stong wind or if it was accually the tornado. But then we heard some of the trees cracking and my window just broke off! So that very second my sis and me ran downstairs. It was scary. I'm now scared of strong winds!

  • At 23, you can see power lines getting hit.

  • One of those was a power transformer that was hit and we lost power for hours.

  • I believe it. I live in Madison, and took a weather spotter class many years ago. One of the things the NOAA instructor kept saying was that "tornadoes occur 12 months a year in all 50 states." You've got proof right there.

  • At 23, you can see power lines getting hit.

  • DUDE! WHERE'S THE SOUND?

  • Sound is on you just can't hear anything.

  • I see. Weren't you scared???

  • No I wasn't scared I actually wanted the cars in front of me to hurry up and move the heck out of the way so I could get to it closer.

  • awesome!

  • Actually jnajam may be right I put the volume on full and still can't hear anything. Besides that, I like your videos. For some reason, I like bad weather. It makes me feel good just watching it...

  • Don't forget, this was the same storm which struck Poplar Grove and Harvard IL first. We had quite a bit of damage, but maybe not as much because the areas are sparsely populated. However, I think it was a bit stronger when it first touched down.

  • it was just so still before the storm. almost as if you knew a tornado was coming

  • This one was about 2 miles or so away from Paddock Lake where I live cuz it turned northward. My friend lives near Highway O where it first touched down and she saw it all. Didn't hit her house luckily.
