Takes 800 psi to push a paintball to 300 fps. :-\ 800psi the operating pressure in my paintball gun :-(

The aluminum bbs I've seen were 0.29 grams. It would have to be alloyed with a denser metal to reach .4something. Most of the heavy weight bbs I've come across are actually resin with a dense material added in (apparently they use barium salts or something). In any case, interesting modifications.
Wow 700fps with .48's :O I want 700fps but only for the games with my friends and i wouldn't be shooting 48's. Also i wouldn't want to be using a gas one however i'm not sure if 700fps is feasible with a spring powered sniper.
I did the same thing as roughneck. The gun has a reputation in my county where i play for being quiet, deadly powerful and accurate as hell. Get rid of the green gas (you're halfway there with the setup you've got already) and you'll some rediculous power vs accuracy. Also new hop up (firefly if you can find one) and a new barrel if you want some serious s*x
dude i think you need some type of expansion chamber. I'm not 100% sure but i think too much gas is coming out the barrel and you're losing velocity. An expansion chamber, a regulator, and using CO2 would give you a lot more performance and consistency.
I made a rig similar to yours but with a co2 rig with a regulator. I pushed it to 670 fps with .30 g bbs and it shot straight too.
The hopup on the KJW m700 is shit. If you got a different one that would also help with accuracy.

The KJW M700 is very easy to get shooting over 700fps , with a stock gun . If you drill and tap the bottom center of the mag with a 1/8-27 NPT , you can install a fill nipple like the ones used on paintball guns . Using a low pressure(0-500PSI) inline regulator and a compressed air tank (again from paintball) you set the regulator at about 110-120 PSI and you'll get ~750 FPS consistently regardless of weather. I've done this on a Stock KJW M700 and hit mansized targets out to 400+ feet.
@MrNickbball no field would allow this gun on. unless they gave him a minimum engagement distance of like, 300 feet, no field would do it (unless they do a no limits game, but that's at the player's own risk).
you should get a suppressor to hide some of the gas and add a few inches to the barrel. or at the very least buy or make some kind of flash hider. the idea is the same as it is in real steel. to dispel some of the gases before the round leaves the end of the barrel. or to at least redirect them.

I'd buy both, it sounds like a good deal.... but if you only have the money for one, I'd get the AK. The length of the gun gives it a lot more accuracy, which is more important in airsoft cuz BBs are so inaccurate already. By the way, don't get an L96 unless you are serious about sniping... and when I say serious, I mean buying a Tanaka and then upgrading it through the roof.
The lenth of the barrewl only makes a diffrence if you are willing to put 200+ $ in the gun to get some systema and guarder crap does the barrel in a AEG make a diffrence.
But with a GBB or any gas gun the longer the barrel the more accurate and the more powerful.

I must ask, Why green gas? Its so unstable, temperature effects the psi in the mag, and therefor the FPS! Why didnt you just hook up an HPA/CO2 bottle and you can set the psi (therefor the FPS) at w/e you want? Just a suggestion for the next step.
yeah the "cold shot" is a great rig. But its over priced. I built something similar to it for about $100. The only advantage to "cold shot" is it fits in a pouch on the stock. Mine doesn't.

you should get a suppressor to hide some of the gas and add a few inches to the barrel. or at the very least buy or make some kind of flash hider. the idea is the same as it is in real steel. to dispel some of the gases before the round leaves the end of the barrel. or to at least redirect them.

your gun is a bb gun, the only thing its good for is target shooting, airsoft guns are for shooting eachother in a military scenario game.
p.s. I have a .22 (the smallest caliber of rifle) that shoots a BULLET at 2600 fps.
and a .223 that shoots a bullet at 3400 fps and can hit a an area .5 inches in diameter at the length of a football field.

hey guys i dont know what to do i found some cheap guns at this knife shop never been opened and i wanted to get this mp5 but i dont know what company its made from i can tell its not walmart because its all metal and i found this m4carbine made by well they which i looked up and its like 140$ and hes selling for 30$ i dont know if i get the mp5 or the ak i like tha ak because i shot it before but its plastic were the wood should be. btw the ak is like 40 or 60$ and the mp5 is 40$ at the store.

I'd buy both, it sounds like a good deal.... but if you only have the money for one, I'd get the AK. The length of the gun gives it a lot more accuracy, which is more important in airsoft cuz BBs are so inaccurate already. By the way, don't get an L96 unless you are serious about sniping... and when I say serious, I mean buying a Tanaka and then upgrading it through the roof.

The lenth of the barrewl only makes a diffrence if you are willing to put 200+ $ in the gun to get some systema and guarder crap does the barrel in a AEG make a diffrence.
But with a GBB or any gas gun the longer the barrel the more accurate and the more powerful.

I must ask, Why green gas? Its so unstable, temperature effects the psi in the mag, and therefor the FPS! Why didnt you just hook up an HPA/CO2 bottle and you can set the psi (therefor the FPS) at w/e you want? Just a suggestion for the next step.

yeah the "cold shot" is a great rig. But its over priced. I built something similar to it for about $100. The only advantage to "cold shot" is it fits in a pouch on the stock. Mine doesn't.
