Um, no offense but you are wrong. English Bull Terriers look like the one in this video, not like your dog. When people talk about Bull Terriers, they're usually talking about English Bull Terriers. You might have a Pit Bull Terrier, which are usually referred to as Pit Bulls, not Bull Terriers.

Hi Rselmi, The way to over come this problem is by selective breeding.

My first Bully died 18 months ago at the age of 12 from liver failure and he would lay out in the the sun for half the day but, I always applied sun screen.I now have a 8 month Bully and he to loves laying out in the sun oh and on the lounge and again I apply sunscreen.

The breeder I bought him from said none of there dogs have every had skin cancer, the answer is selective breeding.Owen Emerald Queensland Australia

I agree that selective breeding can avoid skin cancer, but every dog can develop the desease if exposed a much time under a strong sun light, primarily dogs who has clear skin like Bull Terriers.

yes, I think I will have to move to brasil. I will have two white bullies there. My bullterrier died 10 years ago, she had skin cancer.She was so sweet. Would jump in the air and spin like a helicopter. She was like a little kid.
