By the way I met Michael Sweet's dad last night and talked with him (after the Stryper concert here in Vegas.) What a really cool guy! I thanked him for raising such a great family and all the support he and his wife gave Michael and Robert. If I had been able to talk to him longer I would have asked him why they've allowed themselves to be affiliated with TBN but we were too busy talking about the early days and what is was like for him to see them go from the garage to platinum success. :)

This song is called "Take My Life" and it's available on Michael Sweet's CD "Him" . . . also rereleased with the title "Hims." Should be available at any Christian bookstore, as well as any of the larger record store chains like Best Buy or Tower Records that have good selections of Christian music. Hope that helps. :)

Such a great song! I'm re-living the hymn when Havergal wrote it in the 18th century; Micheal always does a grea work with songs since the Stryper days. This song is a resoponse to Roms.21:1. The song has a story behind it. The person was truly under inspiration. Several centuries later, they "live" in our hearts, and reveals the God who inspired it apart from the instruments who wrote, composed and sang it afresh in our today! Jesus is alive in this song!
