Where can you get the Zodiac Spear and when and how can you get Flare,Scathe and Ardor???!

You get Flare/Scathe or both in the Barheim passage. It is blocked after you fight the mimic queen. So you have to do the side quest to open it again. The magics can be bought from the marchant in the room where you replaced the blown fuse. The other one, Ardour could be bought in from the secret marchant in the necrohol of Nabudis. And both marchants only sell the magics and good equipment later in the game. (Past the Phaoros at Ridorna I think)

In Nechrohol of Nabudis, you can go to the secret merchant and purchase Maximillians. You get Deathbringer in Balfonheim weapon shop after completing Pharos. Other equipments can be purchased in Balfonheim and Barheim Passage after getting the Barheim key.

Zodiac Spear is obtained after defeating Bomb King in Salikawood. It is located in Nechrohol of Nabudis dungeon. You can check sephirosuy's map on gamefaqs dot com to see the exact location.

I keep trying to kill that King Bomb but it renews too many times and it calls for help :( I WANT A ZODIAC SPEAR SOOOOO BAD!!!

Do quickenings before it does Renew or when its HP is really low. Also, it only does renew 2 to 3 times and then quit. You can eventually defeat it if you are still alive or strong enough to do so.

it kepts renewing on me... but then i killed it in 5 seconds after leveling and getting the ultima blade not i have the toursenol and excaliber... i wonder how long it would take to kill it know... guessing 3 seconds lolz

Maybe I will, I just decided to play games like Chrono Trigger and Star ocean 3, which I haven't finished first. Oh and what's the next challenge you'll do, and is it on XII or some other game?

At the moment I'm just going to stick with FFXII until I get my PS3 and move on to newer games. I'm going to finish this challenge and only capture Zodiark and Yiazmat and then move on to a no gambits, active mode, fastest speed, low level game or something like that.

The only downside is that you don't really get to use Dante. That's what I read so far.

Yup really. I had a Berserked + Bravery'd Masamune wielder (Basch), who did most of the damage. Vaan and Zodiac Spear were good too. But if you want, I'll post you the Gambits, seeing as how I got banned from GFAQ's and all..

I think the reason you were able to defeat The Undying before he used Force Barrier was because of the spell lag caused by casting Scathe.

I am playing that one (although I delayed it because I started many other challenges at the same time), I defeated Vossler without healing so it's quite easy.
