Thank you for taking the time to comment. My research source provided the 2% figure so I'm grateful for your correction of this fact, and all your other clarifications. You are clearly very proud of your country, and rightly so as it is beautiful. I really did enjoy my brief stay there and hope to return some day.

  • Tony,

you have excelled.. the most comprehensive video guide I have seen.

Anyone planning a visit should Czech out all the must-see places.

All they need is a pasty stall.

  • Hello Cornishpastyman1 great video!

Re the title of the opening music performed by "The Old Prague Music Ensemble"

Vltava, also known by its German name Die Moldau (or The Moldau), was composed between 20 November and 8 December 1874 by Smetana.

The piece contains Smetana's most famous tune. It is an adaptation of the melody La Mantovana, composed by the Italian renaissance tenor Giuseppe Cenci also known as Giuseppino del Biado, (d. 1616) The melody is first found in print circa 1600.

  • Sublime video, Tony. You had a great subject, too. Prague has to be one of the most beautiful cities, especially architecturally, that I have seen in your videos. I'm glad your title made me laugh, because the Jewish Quarter section made me teary. It was beautifully done and had great music. I loved the irony of using "A Summer Place". As usual, you've put so much history into a short amount of time that I will have to come back-a compliment to the guy in blue;-). Thanks for this great job.
