@Tactual actually this is more like what scientists believe not christians. In the bible it says God took dirt from the ground and formed Adam out of it and then took one of adam's ribs and created Eve. Scientists believe that over the course of billions of years we evolved from single celled eukaryotic organisms into what we are today starting off as monkeys and then upper apes then getting progressively more human like as the eons go by.

@SkullsSean the spore creature wasn't made from nothing. In order to get to the creature stage you have to start at the cell stage. Suggesting that all life started off as cells which evolve over millions of years into organisms as we know them. And God didn't take "nothing" to make something even though that is well within his powers. He took dirt and dust from the Earth and turned it into a human. Makes an equal amount of sense as we were all proteins once upon a time floating in a pool
