I think what AllBeware meant was that you don't sound sincere is saying "God is there for us." Only a Christian can fully understand the love He has to offer because of the sacrifice He made for the sins of the world by dying on an old rugged cross. How can you give God praise if you're not even serving Him with an honest heart?
