...............this is my third time twice in the westend and last night at Grove theatre dunstable, Superb cast and gets me every time well done!!!!!
I went to see this a few weeks ago in London, and have fell in love with it. I do think Natasha Hamilton was better though, she seemed to fit into the role more, and was absolutely incredible!
@supacalefred omg i soo agree i went to see it last night it was amazing especially the lighting rigs they have got there never seen so many lights in one place
@supacalefred I saw it at the Phoenix Theater, and loved it! I was only over there as an ambassador (from USA here) and that show has stuck with me soo much!
Just saw blood brothers for about the 8th time. Niki Evans (xfactor) was bloody amazing as mrs j. Did this is school for my gcse drama and have loved it ever since!!!
Blood Brothers is amazing, and the best musical of all time, have seen it several times, always feel like a like limp rag afterwards, emotionally drained, love it. In my opinion, best Mrs Johnstone, Linda Nolan, best Mickey, Stefan Dennis. Seeing it again in Southampton in October, and can hardly wait.
I saw this i london, the lady ms jonstone. i thought se was a greatc singer, who was singing in july 2010? she was great!, so muc warmth in this musical, i wish i could e it agai, but at £55 pound per person, probably depending where you were sat.
I loved everything about the musical , the police comng in at the end wa scarey though, and so was the gun shot, it was such a shock.
A tour group I was with went to see this a few weeks ago. It was amazing! But the role of Mrs.Johnstone was played by Niki Evans. I think she was probably the best.
hahahaha... it's funny how it looks so shit on videos... and it's just the most amazing live show ever... i think videos of lives performances spoil everything
I liked the one at the phoenix theathre more, with the floor that goes up(yes you read that coerrectly, the foor onstage is a bit broken or something, its not allighned correctly :p
I'm a french student and I saw this musical in England !
Wahou it was really great ! The replacement for the singer who was not there that night was really excellent. She had a beautiful voice. Congratulations to her.
I went to wolverhampton to see this yesterday 12/05/10.... all i can say is it was absolutley BRILLIANT ...Lyn Paul played the part of mrs Johnstone.....Like i said BRILLIANT
I live in liverpool and have seen this show 15 times in total i love it. i havent seen mel c in it though i really enjoy seeing it in londons west end its the longest running show in the west end ever i heard !! x
NIKI EVANS was easily the BEST Mrs Johnstone for me! And I saw it with two different people. Her voice was just made for this part. I love her unique interpretations of the song and her surprisingly great acting =)
i member going to see this musical wher in sundrland few years ago the end whn the shot gun went off i nearly had a heart attack as the police who shout and tht one them was right behnd me haha lol ! i thnk its sad bt gr8 thng to watch
The narrator needs a scouse accent lol. . . One part (that I am not gonna give away) scared like everyone in the west end theater when I went to see it the other day. . . The acting was amazing and I really thought it was really real. Great show. . .
I saw it on the 30.4.09 and the narrator was amazing i loved the whole thing, i cried like a baby at the end where the mother put the twins hands over each other :L its such a sad story :(
wow we went to this and two of the actors from the london show came to my school and worked with us for two hours it was really good, suprisingly i learnt a lott.
I saw the play in Nottingham about 5 months ago (: I love this show ;D The ending made my friend cry (: And the gunshot made me about fall off my chair lol!
I have seen it in Darlington about 8 years ago and twice at the regent. I prefer Linda Nolan than this one. How long have the twins been playing their parts cos i am sure they were both in it in Darlington.
This is an amateur production. It was done in Australia in a little theatre on the Gold Coast called Spotlight Theatre. We all enjoyed doing the show as it's a great musical.
Not a lot of scouse accent going on here!
